EDSvote update #31 | Steady as she goes

Welcome all to this week's EDSvote update where we look at a range of different things. Please follow the @eddie-earner account to make sure all our reports are going into your feed and you can easily stay updated on your investment.

What is EDSvote?
Eds-vote is an account that people can delegate HIVE POWER to. In return for their delegation, they will receive EDS tokens each Monday.

The delegated HP will be used to curate content on HIVE and provide small upvotes for those that hold over 100 EDS tokens. Delegating HIVE POWER to @eds-vote will not result in an upvote. This is not a delegation to upvote service. It is a way to distribute the remaining reallocated EDS into circulation.

What are EDS tokens?
EDS tokens are HIVE income tokens that are pegged and backed to 1 HIVE each. They pay out weekly dividends every Monday based on 12% of the total powered-up HIVE balance of the @eddie-earner account. This is currently paying out an APY to token holders of roughly 35%.

Let's have a look at the numbers in chart form as this is the best way to see performance and predict the future.

Incoming delegations increased by just over 1k this week so we are back to normal. Would be nice to finish the year with over 150k,

We finish this week with a curation APY of 8.12% which just over our base target of 8% so thats a win. Now things have settled, we should get back to being more stable. Because curation rewards are paid 1 week late, then we get or lose large amounts of HP, which plays with the curation APY hugely. You can see this in weeks 16 and 28 when the curation APY dropped to under 6% and then the opposite in week 21 when the APY mooned to 12%. The APY drops when we receive a large delegation and it moons when we lose a large delegation.

Small dip in curation rewards compared to last week but still 226 HP. If we can keep this up for another 11 weeks, we'll be able to start a 200 HIVE per-week powerdown. Madness cause I was over the moon when it hit 100 HP per week, I thought ok, it's going to level off now but it kept growing and more people are delegating HP to @eds-vote and lots are increasing their delegations as well.

Good curation rewards equals nice EDS mintage number. This week @eds-vote has minted 113 EDS and issuedto HP delegators. These EDS are issued each Monday morning around the same time as the EDS weekly Report is uploaded. If we keep this up, eds-vote will mint near 6k EDS per year.

Round-Up

Steady week, kinda boring just the way I like it.😁 If we keep growing by our standard of 1k per week, we'll finish the year with 150k being delegated in by smart people who know and understand the current and future value of EDS tokens.
