Hello EDS'ers. Today is the day we issue the EDS weekly report to keep all your guys up to date and let you know how things are going.

What are EDS tokens?

EDS tokens are HIVE income tokens that pays out weekly dividends every Monday based on 12% of the total power up the balance of the @eddie-earner account. This is currently paying out an APY to token holders of over 31%.

(Example of how the HIVE income pool is worked out)

• EDS is pegged to 1 HIVE per token
• 12% of over 104,000 HIVE POWER pays out (104,000*12/52.18) 240 per week
• EDS in circulation each yield (240/40,000) 0.006 HIVE per week
• 0.006 each week for 1 year (52.18) equals 0.31 HIVE
• 1 EDS pays out a HIVE income of roughly 31% per year

EDS tokens launched with a hardcap of 500,000 and a public sale of 20,000 tokens each issued for 1 HIVE each. There are 2 ways to mint new EDS tokens. 1 is by owning and staking either EDS miners (EDSM) are EDS mini miners (EDSMM) tokens and 2 is delegations HIVE POWER to @eds-vote. EDS Miners yield roughly 20% per year and EDS-vote yields around 4-5%.

EDS converts all earnings, airdrops, tribe tokens into HIVE. This account is 100% focused on powering up as much HIVE as possible. It's just that single-minded. This projects weekly saving club content is run by @shanibeer and wallet by @silverstackeruk both on behalf of SPinvest. This is a long term project and should be viewed as a token to stack up and HODL. Buy some miners, let them mint you some EDS tokens, build a pile and collect weekly HIVE dividends. In other words, buy some EDSM miners and forget about it. Add a few every week/month and watch your EDS pile grow. You can also buy EDS directly from the market, if you add a buy order for any amount at 1 HIVE each, it'll get filled. It might take a few days but it'll get filled as some miners like to sell their mining rewards right away to lock in them profits.

Lets get a look at the charts this week

397 EDS minted this week, that is the most ever in 1 week and it's great to see. We'll see mintage dip down from next week back to around 370 but we'll soon get back up to 400 a week and more over the coming months as i continue to push @eds-vote.

We're starting to see some nice growth here and having swapped over a delegation last week, we are getting a small boost in income which is always good. It sounds silly to say now but in many years from now, this will be a curve chart and right now, we're at the bottom. We've all heard compounding is the 7th wonder of the world, I say watch EDS for a few years and bear witness.

As with each week, the HIVE income pool has increased by a small amount. This chart is exactly the same as the HP chart because the HIVE income pool is tied directly to our HP balance. The EDS income pool is equal to a 12% of the HP balance of the @eddie-earner account.

We have 106,041 HP, 12% of this is 12,724.92. Then to break it into weeks, we divide that by 365.25 for a daily amount of 34.84 and then multiply by 7 for the weekly amount of 243.87. Pretty simple, right?

You can do it (HP balance * 0.12 / 52.18) if you are lazy and want 99.99% correct numbers. haha

Well...another week and another dip in EDS APY. Its not all bad news, the weekly decline has been 0.22% for the past almost 3 months and this week, the decline was 0.20% which is a step in the right way. I dont think anyone is worrying just yet with the APY at 29.70% because I see EDS still trading at over peg.

I wonder how many miners we would need to mint and sell to boost the APY back to 35%? No, no, never mind, just thinking out loud. It's easy for you guys, I have the power and need to resist the temptation of minting more EDS miners, maybe EDSMMM, EDS mini mirco miners (what else?) and sell them for 0.10 HIVE each, baba-haha. I know you guys want them, I want to give them to you to boast the APY but can't. Releasing a new miner is a 1-way decision with no reverse opinion. EDS-vote is a 2 way because it can be reversed and stopped. We can stop EDS-vote but cant stop miners.

How do you build a HIVE income that only ever increases over time?

We all put money aside for a pension/old age with the money we earn from jobs, why not do the same with blockchain earnings? Weekly Roundup

Another banger week, between content rewards and HIVE from eds-vote, EDS's HP balance is performing better and growing much faster than the model's projection of 6% per year at closer to 13.8%. More than double and like i said above, compounding is a magical thing.

In the EDS account, there are over 350 EDSMM tokens just sitting there. Should we sell them are give them away? Is that a silly question, will anyone suggest selling them? Maybe we could give them away to all the people who subscribe to this report each week. Let me think about it for a few weeks and see if the subscriber list grows any first 😉
