Hello EDS'ers. Today is the day we issue the EDS weekly report to keep all your guys up to date and let you know how things are going.

What are EDS tokens?

EDS tokens are HIVE income tokens that pays out weekly dividends every Monday based on 12% of the total power up the balance of the @eddie-earner account. This is currently paying out an APY to token holders of over 25%.

(Example of how the HIVE income pool is worked out)

• EDS is pegged to 1 HIVE per token
• 12% of over 113,000 HIVE POWER pays out (113,000*12/52.18) 259.86 per week
• EDS in circulation each yield (260/54000) 0.0048 HIVE per week
• 0.0048 each week for 1 year (52.18) equals 0.25 HIVE
• 1 EDS pays out a HIVE income of roughly 25% per year

EDS tokens launched with a hardcap of 500,000 and a public sale of 20,000 tokens each issued for 1 HIVE each. There are 2 ways to mint new EDS tokens. 1 is by owning and staking either EDS miners (EDSM) are EDS mini miners (EDSMM) tokens and 2 is delegations HIVE POWER to @eds-vote. EDS Miners yield roughly 20% per year and EDS-vote yields around 4-5%.

EDS converts all earnings, airdrops, tribe tokens into HIVE. This account is 100% focused on powering up as much HIVE as possible. It's just that single-minded. This projects weekly saving club content is run by @shanibeer and wallet by @silverstackeruk both on behalf of SPinvest. This is a long term project and should be viewed as a token to stack up and HODL. Buy some miners, let them mint you some EDS tokens, build a pile and collect weekly HIVE dividends. In other words, buy some EDSM miners and forget about it. Add a few every week/month and watch your EDS pile grow. You can also buy EDS directly from the market, if you add a buy order for any amount at 1 HIVE each, it'll get filled. It might take a few days but it'll get filled as some miners like to sell their mining rewards right away to lock in them profits.

Let's get a look at the charts this week

There were 437 EDS minted this week, this number is on the higher side of average. From next week, we will see an increase in minted EDS from eds-vote curation rewards. I am guessing the new normal mintage from next week onwards will be over 500 EDS a week, that will be 300 from EDS miners, 200 from @eds-vote and 20-30 from @eds-d.

The EDS mintage is coming along nicely.

Really good week with 385 HIVE powered up to the account. We had good content rewards, dont be shy and head over to https://hive.vote/ and add @eddie-earner to your fanbase to give autovotes of you support our content/project.

In 2-3 months time when we start a new larger powerdown from eds-vote, we should be powering up close to 600 HIVE per week in total. Who would have ever thought that?

Juicy increase of 0.85 HIVE this week. I understand that is not a big number but the HIVE income grows each week and has never had 1 week where it has declined. This week the income pool is 265.14 HIVE, we'll soon be closer to increasing by 1.2 HIVE per week which would mean the HIVE income will increase by a minimum, absolute minimum of over 62 HIVE a year. Before you know it, it'll be over 500 HIVE a week and still growing.

Well bad news here, the decline is -0.12% again this week. There is nothing i can do about this and heads up, i think it will be worse next week. Why? Because @eds-vote has received large delegations over the past 2 weeks and almost double in size, the amount of curation rewards it will earn will double and the amount of EDS it mints will double also. This is all good but it will be 11-12 weeks before @eddie-earner gets any HIVE increase because to start a bigger powerdown we need to build the balance first. The result is we end up minting more EDS, about 80-100 extra per week for the next 11-12 weeks into the same HP growth we currently have.

This means we'll probally see a EDS APY decline again next week and then it'll be levelish for 2 months and when eds-vote starts a new larger powerdown, the EDS APY alot instantly drops back to -0.10-0.11%. This increase is just a speed hump.

Better to share it so that when it happens next week, you understand why instead of thinking the EDS model is broke 😅

If the EDS project sounds right up your street, there are 2 ways to get your hands on EDS tokens. Building a HIVE income is one of those things when it's better to get started sooner than later. We all put money aside for a pension/old age with the money we earn from jobs, why not do the same with blockchain earnings? If blockchain is the future, why not be playing the game of life 3 steps ahead of everyone else? There's no day like day to start increasing your income and the snowball effect is real when you have patience.

Weekly Roundup

Really loving the growth we're seeing over at @eds-vote, it's like every time I check the account, the incoming HP balance has grown. It's turning out to be an excellent way to distribute EDS tokens and also grow the HP balance. Based on a few calculations we should be able to start a 400 HIVE per week powerdown from eds-vote in under 3 months. That is enough to make it so more HIVE is being powered up than EDS is being minted. This is not the EDS flip, it's the next best thing, it means EDS can operate without eating into its HP balance to back newly minted EDS.

@eds-d is performing decently as well and with the price of HIVE being very low, the rewards it's paying out are excellent. EDSD is a sleeper project that will grow a little each week for months/years and all of a sudden, you'll see it's massive.

We're firing all engines full blast and it's feeling good. It's not possible without all the support and love shown so give yourself a slap on the back!
