Hello EDS'ers. Today is the day we issue the EDS weekly report to keep all your guys up to date and let you know how things are going.

What are EDS tokens?

EDS tokens are HIVE income tokens that pays out weekly dividends every Monday based on 12% of the total power up the balance of the @eddie-earner account. This is currently paying out an APY to token holders of over 28%.

(Example of how the HIVE income pool is worked out)

• EDS is pegged to 1 HIVE per token
• 12% of over 104,000 HIVE POWER pays out (104,000*12/52.18) 240 per week
• EDS in circulation each yield (240/40,000) 0.006 HIVE per week
• 0.006 each week for 1 year (52.18) equals 0.31 HIVE
• 1 EDS pays out a HIVE income of roughly 31% per year

EDS tokens launched with a hardcap of 500,000 and a public sale of 20,000 tokens each issued for 1 HIVE each. There are 2 ways to mint new EDS tokens. 1 is by owning and staking either EDS miners (EDSM) are EDS mini miners (EDSMM) tokens and 2 is delegations HIVE POWER to @eds-vote. EDS Miners yield roughly 20% per year and EDS-vote yields around 4-5%.

EDS converts all earnings, airdrops, tribe tokens into HIVE. This account is 100% focused on powering up as much HIVE as possible. It's just that single-minded. This projects weekly saving club content is run by @shanibeer and wallet by @silverstackeruk both on behalf of SPinvest. This is a long term project and should be viewed as a token to stack up and HODL. Buy some miners, let them mint you some EDS tokens, build a pile and collect weekly HIVE dividends. In other words, buy some EDSM miners and forget about it. Add a few every week/month and watch your EDS pile grow. You can also buy EDS directly from the market, if you add a buy order for any amount at 1 HIVE each, it'll get filled. It might take a few days but it'll get filled as some miners like to sell their mining rewards right away to lock in them profits.

Let's get a look at the charts this week

It's been a great week and we've minted 427 EDS into circulation this week. These tokens have been minted to those holding EDS miner (EDSM &EDSMM) tokens, to those who delegate HP to eds-vote and finally to those who hold EDSD tokens. If you have all 3, you're in a good spot.

Record Week! Most HIVE powered up in a week. There was 371 powered up this week beating to old ATH of 334. Why? Well, this week was the first week we received the new powerdown from eds-vote which is for 200 HIVE a week, it was 150 HIVE before this so we've increased income by 50 HIVE and because we already cleared expenses (Income Pool), it can all be powered up 😎

I see eds-vote has taken a bit of a hit the past 3-7 days, this will not affect the current powerdown and we're just scraping to pull in 200 HP a week from curation rewards but we should beable to make the next powerdown in 12 weeks for 200 again. 6 months ago we were powering up 200 HIVE a week and today we're clearing 350 easy, thats keep this momentum going.

Because of this, we will start to see the HIVE POWER chart above inclining more.

Record Week here as well because the @eddie-earner HP balance and EDS income pool are linked. 370 HP will earn us an extra 0.82 HIVE a week at 12%. I said a few weeks half joking that we will be at 1 HIVE growth per week soon and by golly, we're halfway there from when I said it.

Because the HIVE income pool is linked to the HP balance, it means the income pool increases each week because we have more HP each week.

Great news, the EDS APY declined by only 0.14% this week which is amazing and faster than projected. This is the result of the new larger powerdown from eds-vote.

It is not easy to pitch "Hey, the EDS APY is going to decline for a few years but it's cool, it'll decline really slow"

Im not a dummy and I understand how that must have read to an investor but it's the truth and all part of the model, the gameplan. The EDS APY peaked at 37.68% 53 weeks ago and today, we're only down to 26.16% which is still amazing and someone holding EDS for the past year will have had a 31.92% APY for the year.

Those who read weekly will have seen the APY decline slow down. When we sold out of EDS miners, the APY was declining by 0.60% a week and today it's down to -0.14% a week. We'll keep grinding to get it to 0% and then it'll flip and only ever increase after. There's just a long wait between now and then sadly.

How do you build a HIVE income that only ever increases over time?
If the EDS project sounds right up your street, there are 2 ways to get your hands on EDS tokens. Building a HIVE income is one of those things when it's better to get started sooner than later. We all put money aside for a pension/old age with the money we earn from jobs, why not do the same with blockchain earnings? If blockchain is the future, why not be playing the game of life 3 steps ahead of everyone else? There's no day like day to start increasing your income and the snowball effect is real when you have patience.

Weekly Roundup

Smashed it again, we're hitting new time highs every week, well not close but we are 100% seeing improvement month on month.

I have started to write an anything EDS post that can pinned to the accounts blog and also to the EDS discord server. This post will include EDS distribution, mintage timelines, APY projections, and wen flip. show how eds-vote and EDSD feed directly into EDS and how we can't fail.

This will not make sense to all but by EDS hardcap when we have 500k tokens circulating, we need to have at least 500k HP to back them to 1 HIVE each. Mintages allocations are 120k to eds-vote, 60k to EDSD and the remaining 270ish-k are allocated to EDS miners.

We have 110k HP already in the account and need another 390k before hardcap. With eds-vote and EDSD, we kinda mint EDS at the value of 2 HIVE each because for every 2 HIVE we earn from eds-vote are EDSD, we mint 1 EDS token. Knowing this, we can predict that we will power up 360k HIVE if both allocations for eds-vote and EDSD are filled. This puts our HP balance at 470k and we grow out HP balance by around 15k a year so if it takes 10-15 years to mint all the eds-vote and EDSD allocations, we'll be closer to a 600k HP balance.

Pretty cool? If you understand that fully and it's not rocket science, you'll understand EDS has built a solid foundation where it's very hard to have 500k EDS circulating and not have at least 500k HP in the account. If eds-vote and EDSD can't fill their allocations, I'll think of new ways to mint EDS on a worse HIVE (income) to EDS (outgoing) ratio.
