EDS income token weekly report - 106

Hello EDS'ers. Today is the day we issue the EDS weekly report to keep all your guys up to date and let you know how things are going.

What are EDS tokens?

EDS tokens are HIVE income tokens that pays out weekly dividends every Monday based on 12% of the total power up the balance of the @eddie-earner account. This is currently paying out an APY to token holders of over 28%.

(Example of how the HIVE income pool is worked out)

• EDS is pegged to 1 HIVE per token
• 12% of over 104,000 HIVE POWER pays out (104,000*12/52.18) 240 per week
• EDS in circulation each yield (240/40,000) 0.006 HIVE per week
• 0.006 each week for 1 year (52.18) equals 0.31 HIVE
• 1 EDS pays out a HIVE income of roughly 31% per year

EDS tokens launched with a hardcap of 500,000 and a public sale of 20,000 tokens each issued for 1 HIVE each. There are 2 ways to mint new EDS tokens. 1 is by owning and staking either EDS miners (EDSM) are EDS mini miners (EDSMM) tokens and 2 is delegations HIVE POWER to @eds-vote. EDS Miners yield roughly 20% per year and EDS-vote yields around 4-5%.

EDS converts all earnings, airdrops, tribe tokens into HIVE. This account is 100% focused on powering up as much HIVE as possible. It's just that single-minded. This projects weekly saving club content is run by @shanibeer and wallet by @silverstackeruk both on behalf of SPinvest. This is a long term project and should be viewed as a token to stack up and HODL. Buy some miners, let them mint you some EDS tokens, build a pile and collect weekly HIVE dividends. In other words, buy some EDSM miners and forget about it. Add a few every week/month and watch your EDS pile grow. You can also buy EDS directly from the market, if you add a buy order for any amount at 1 HIVE each, it'll get filled. It might take a few days but it'll get filled as some miners like to sell their mining rewards right away to lock in them profits.

Let's get a look at the charts this week

Good week with 423 EDS being minted this week. Thats right 300 from EDS miners, 100 from @eds-vote and 20 something from EDSD. We finish the week with 49,918 EDS so we will cross over the 50k mark this coming week and that will be 10% of all EDS in circulation.

Powered up over 300 HIVE this week which is brilliant. Content rewards have dropped 20-40 HIVE per week but eds-vote and EDSD has made up for this. This 300 HIVE is equal to HP growth of 14.2% over a year so the account HP balance is seeing growth because it was 11-12% only a few weeks back.

The Income pool grew by 0.69 HIVE this week which is a tiny bit higher than normal. The amount the income pool grows by each week is equal to a 12% APY on the amount of HIVE powered up that week. When we power up more than normal, the income pool increases by more than normal. 0.69 * 52.18 for a year and then divided by the amount powered up which was 300. The result is 12%. The income pool is equal to 12% of the @eddie-earner HP balance. It's all simple stuff 😁

This week the EDS APY declined by 0.15% which is nice because it has been dropping at 0.16% for the past 2 months. It would be even better if this were -0.15% next week but I feel it will be -0.16 and we are currently seeing sawing between the 2.

Slowing down is nice and the decline is half what it was this time last year. If we could double up what we do with @eds-vote and EDSD, we would be powering up the same amount of HIVE as we'd be minting EDS and this would put the EDS APY at a freeze of growth at 0%. Cool stuff but a long way off.

How do you build a HIVE income that only ever increases over time?
If the EDS project sounds right up your street, there are 2 ways to get your hands on EDS tokens. Building a HIVE income is one of those things when it's better to get started sooner than later. We all put money aside for a pension/old age with the money we earn from jobs, why not do the same with blockchain earnings? If blockchain is the future, why not be playing the game of life 3 steps ahead of everyone else? Weekly Roundup

That is another great week for EDS and as always, things are going well and to plan. Something caught my eye this week and I saw that EDS has paid out over 20k in HIVE incomes over the past 2 years which is amazing and we'll issue at least 15k alone this year. Best of all, this number will grow each week because remember, the HIVE income pool increases every week so not possible to go down.

On another note, I have not released an @eds-vote update for the past 2 Thursdays, I am still tracking everything and issuing EDS rewards. It's an easy post so I procrastinate and fall asleep at my desk after eating. By Thursday each week, im wrecked and running on autopilot, haha.

Anyways, im sure you dont care about my excuses, as long as you get your EDS-vote rewards. I do notice with @eds-vote most people delegate 1000 HP to get the upvote and lots of people reset their delegations back to exactly 1000 HP every few weeks. Kinda, screams upvote whores! when you can't let the balance grow by 2.9% a year. I'd bet if upvotes were weighted on HP delegated, @eds-vote would be a 250-300k curation bot. There's a reason there's a small cap of 1000 HP on it, this ain't my first rodeo 🐎. I've even gone to the effort of making a list of names 😉. It's always hard to decide who takes the first percentage cut when we're using too much voting power, this makes it easier.
