Paisajes Sostenibles of the FAO

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations came to Lérida today, and I was invited (by @ecoinstante). Their local program Paisajes Sostenibles has crossed paths with the work we are doing with other local groups, including @quintaesencia.

This project, together with the Foundation Alexander Von Humboldt, aims to train a generational complement of projects and local actors to sustain and lead into a brighter future of socio-environmental sustainability.

The focus particularily of this workshop is on communication. What strategies can and should we use to communicate our projects to the world?

Of course HIVE is here, I am (and have before) privately inviting many of the people here to integrate HIVE into their strategy, although HIVE is not nexessarily a good strategy 'to get views'. Its more of a storage tool for freedom, than a social network. Slowly but surely.

There is some hope for the world, and I guess that is the point of this workshop, to train the people working on real solutions to speak up and show people what they are doing. Not everyone has as much confidence with speaking in public or into the camera as others.

Its not the end of the world, we are going to make it. And I'll let you know how the rest of the workshop goes.

I understand that communication is a fundamental aspect of socio-environmental sustainability.
It is important to use effective strategies to communicate our projects to the world and I agree that HIVE can be a useful tool to integrate into the strategy.
Thank you for the invitation and for sharing this information about the project.

It's special when everyone is working with someone from the mill who is so talented and we get to learn so much from them.
