Social media and bitterness

Many Nigerians are unemployed and when they purchase data from their service provider, they do not prioritize using it for beneficial purposes. Instead, they tend to use it for activities that do not add value to their lives or even waste their resources. This often involves expressing their frustrations in the comment section of social media platforms. Despite this, I still find it amusing and entertaining to read through the comments section due to the humorous and often bitter comments that are posted.

The comments section can be a scary place, especially when it comes to Nigerians. It's understandable why some people choose to keep their personal lives private, as there are those who can't help but stick their noses where they don't belong. Celebrities in particular have it rough, as any post about their loved ones or accomplishments is sure to attract bitter comments from people who are likely projecting their frustrations with unemployment onto others.

I don't how some people cope with reading through their comment sections, it is always better to post and disable comments.

When engaging in conversations on social media platforms like Instagram and Twitter, I often try to empathize with the creators. It's disheartening to come across demoralizing content that can make you feel like your accomplishments are insignificant. I've noticed that in Nigeria, many people are bitter due to unemployment, but this seems to be a universal issue. Whether rich or poor, some individuals are simply bitter, which may indicate deeper issues with their mindset.

It's unfortunate that some people find joy in the misfortunes of others. It's especially prevalent on social media, where people feel empowered by anonymity to say hurtful things without consequence. We should all consider how we would feel if those comments were directed at us before posting anything online. It's important to remember that behind every profile picture is a real person with real feelings.

Social media gives me a perfect picture of life and that is human be' minds are full of evil and most people are not expressing themselves just because they know them personally. If you could read people's minds you would realize that most people are bitter

Recently, I've come to support those who prefer to keep their lives private, especially when it comes to relationships. In the past, I've been critical of those who keep their relationships hidden, assuming they have something to hide. However, after seeing the negative comments and hateful attitudes expressed on social media, I've realized that some people simply cannot appreciate the good things in life. Despite how wonderful something may be, there will always be someone who finds fault with it. Given this reality, why share your joy with those who cannot appreciate it? Enjoy your happiness in private and keep it safe from negativity.

This experience has taught me that not everyone who is close to us loves us. Some people may struggle to express their feelings towards us, and unfortunately, our success can sometimes bring out the worst in them. In this day and age, it's crucial to be cautious when dealing with others as we never truly know who has our best interests at heart and who is simply looking to benefit from us. It's important to keep in mind that bitterness is becoming increasingly common, and sometimes it's best to keep our accomplishments to ourselves in order to avoid destroying the happiness that we've worked so hard to achieve.

thanks for your time.

It is not particularly a Nigerian thing though. Social media is corrupting. Ever since its inception, we have seen the mental health of so many people decline and they will continue to go down until we acknowledge it and put some checks and balances around it individually and as a group.

As for me, I have decided to turn off my data more often. It has reduced the number of notifications I get and I am able to focus more on what is in front of me.

It's not just Nigerians who harbor bitterness, but many individuals living abroad as well. In fact, some are even more bitter due to their ability to evade consequences. Perhaps it's best to keep our personal affairs private and steer clear of social media.

I think this veil of anonymity it what gives users the leeway to bash people on social media, since they can get away with it. Bitter people always have something to complain about and will keep looking for places to project their bitterness. I think it's a great idea to turn off comments when one is perceived as a celebrity or high ranked individual.

It is crazy how bitter people can get on social media just because they can get away with it and this is one of the reasons why we should be part of life private
