Hello everyone! Today I’ll be talking about an interesting topic that has the potential to change our lives.“The Power of Positive ” This topic was influenced by a girl who believes that every marriage is doomed to fail and that everybody should stay away from it. When I asked this girl to give me an example of what she was saying all she could refer to was social media.

I realized that social media has made her believe nothing good could come out of marriage, it was not a surprise to me because there was a stage in my life where I was always thinking about negative things based on what was happening in my environment at that time and also based on the things I see & read on social media. This affected me a lot in so many ways.

It affected the way I think and the way I react to things. Thinking negatively affected my relationship with people. Mind you, there’s this saying that “ positive thinking will let you do everything better”. It did not happen overnight but it was a gradual process that became something that nearly destroyed everything I had for years.

When I noticed how my negative thinking was starting to affect me, I stood up one day and prayed about it. I prayed every day to God to keep my head sane again and make me start thinking positively. I know it doesn’t work like magic that way. After saying my prayers I made up my mind to start thinking positively. Most people don't know how negative thinking is affecting them which is a major problem in our society.

These are the things that helped me:

  • I unfollowed some set of people on my social media

  • Everytime I wake up after praying, I say some words of affirmation to my life

  • I started to make myself happy all alone

  • I listen to good music

  • I tried to stop being very idle

  • When I wake up in the morning, instead of making negative thoughts creep in I choose to embrace a positive mindset.

  • I practiced gratitude more

  • I surrounded myself with positive influences.

Thinking positive has helped me a lot starting from me improving mentally, it has enhanced my relationships, it has boosted my confidence & it has helped my health better. When I started to like positive things more on social media my page was always filled with positive things like healthy living, healthy marriages, and so on.

So there you have it my friends! The power of positive thinking is truly remarkable. Embracing a positive mindset, we can all experience improved mental well-being, boosted confidence & better health. As you go about your daily life, remember that you have the power to choose your thoughts and surround yourself with positive influences. Let’s embrace positivity and practice gratitude. Believe in yourself and stay positive! Here is to more positivity and happiness, my friends!

A positive mindset is always nice and those are some nice tips. I just think that you tend to do better throughout the day when you think positively.

This can be a huge difference in how we perceive and conduct our lives. Negative thoughts are doing more harm than good and most of them tend to be baseless, because we don't have any tangible experience yet about what we're thinking negatively about.
