The last season of Splinterlands is truly a delight for me. It's not just the engaging gameplay that has me hooked, but also the introduction of a new ranking system. At the start of the season, I found it extremely easy to climb the ranks as I was matched with low-level players. Although playing against them was a cakewalk, I couldn't always emerge victorious as some of them had a perfect strategy in place. However, I managed to win more than 90% of the games played against them. As the season progressed, I was paired with players of my own level, and things started to change.

In the middle of the season, I started playing with powerful players, which became challenging because some of these players had a good deck, and some of them just relied on strategy, but all in all, I was able to scope 53 chests at the end of the season which shows how dominant I was throughout the season because it got to a point where I nearly made it into the Champions League. I pushed so hard just to enter the Champions League, but all my effort did not count because, at the top of the Diamond League, we had some crazy players that beat me very well, I was drugged back to Diamond League 2, where I ended the season comfortably.

My expectations were met

Like last season, I was able to make over 600 SPS in total with a legendary card. However, I found this season even better because I obtained some interesting rewards from my chest. Although I wasn't able to reach the same number as last season, I still earned a good amount of SPS with a legendary card and several summoners. My focus in the game now is to collect as many cards as possible and upgrade them to a high level, so that I can use these reward cards to battle at higher levels. Every time I obtain a card from my chest, it brings me joy.

My top priority is building up my deck because I am already earning a good amount of sps through rank battles so I can continue playing at the highest level possible. The new racking system and my max cards make it easy for me to dominate my opponents, especially since I have a max Chaos legion deck that allows me to play at Diamond 1 and League 2. My ultimate goal is to keep acquiring more cards so I can play at the highest level possible and I plan to max my Soulbond reward card immediately after they hit the market.

It can only get better from here

The upcoming update will introduce a new reward system that operates like a typical game. You will only earn winning points that can be used in the market to buy packs, merit, and so on. This change is intended to address the concerns of players who feel they receive too much merit or portions. Personally, I plan to prioritize maximizing my card and will use my reward points to purchase more packs. I'm thrilled about the game's continuous improvement but remain satisfied with my current rewards.
