Today is my birthday, and even though I usually don't make a big deal out of it, this year is different. I've faced a lot of struggles in my life, and I want to celebrate overcoming them. My brother surprised me by suggesting we spend the day helping those in need and sharing food with them. It's something I love to do, but doing it on my birthday makes it even more special. I want to make this birthday memorable by giving back and feeling like I've done something meaningful.

I'm always a shy person, and going out and helping people or sharing food can sometimes be challenging for me just because of my nature That is why when people ask for donations to help the less privileged, I always donate because my nature might not let me do it myself, but this one i put all that aside and challenge myself by doing something right. So I started making plans, yesterday, which was the day before my birthday, I went to the market to get the ingredients and the rice I'll be using to cook and I was tired when I got home, and after writing my post, I slept early to wake up early to kick start, which was what I did.

While I'm not the best cook, I was able to get some help from my sister and my best friend. They cooked incredibly well, and the food was delicious. However, I have been exhausted all day since I helped them throughout the entire process. Cooking takes a lot of time and can be tiring, especially when cooking a large amount of food. Despite my fatigue, it was a wonderful experience because I was able to share the food with my neighbors, women on the street, and even the homeless sitting beside the roadside, I was shy I the process but I later got comfortable.

It feels good

I know that I don't have much but the little I have I'm sharing with those that I needed more than I do and that is what I believe most of us should be doing to make the world a better place by giving part of the little you have it's not compulsory you have a lot but you should share with those that you know are also in need, It was an amazing experience for me because I've never seen people so happy like that and I have promised to do more of that in the future.

I believe that in the present situation of the country, by doing every little we can, will go a long way. It might change the world instantly, but if all of us can adopt this mentality, we can change everything around us by making the world a better place for every one of us to live. I will be doing more of this not only on my birthday alone but when I have enough and I can share with people.
