Generate income

IMG_4962.jpeg

Africa is a tough place to live simply because so many things are designed to work against the citizens. The Government prioritizes itself over the citizens, and nothing is done about it, which is why it is tough to live in Africa and to also raise money while depending on the government. the more I grew, I realized that there are a lot of opportunities in Africa, but these opportunities, our for those who don't wait for the government to do things for them. These opportunities are for those who believe in themselves and seize the available opportunities.

Initially, I was one of those who constantly criticized the government due to my high expectations of them. I firmly believe that with the abundant resources and revenue generated by the country, more benefits should have been accessible to the people. However, as time progressed, I realized that the government wasn't going to rescue me, and I needed to take action. Consequently, I started exploring methods to generate income, and that's when I discovered that Africa has a lot of opportunities, but only if one is willing to seize them without depending on the government.

The pillar of finance is income

Sometimes, when I hear people talking about finance, how savings are important and why we should save, how investment can transform our lives, why we should also maximize the benefit of retirement, and so on, and so forth. I realize all these things are not possible without income, no matter how sound you are about how to manage your finances or how to grow them. If you are not generating income, your vast knowledge will count as nothing, simply because the only thing that could make everything you know, work well is income.

Generating income is crucial for financial stability and success. Africa, particularly Nigeria, presents vast opportunities to generate income due to its large population. However, many people fail to realize this. Regardless of financial goals, generating income is a necessary step. Without income, achieving financial success is nearly impossible. Therefore, generating income should be a top priority.

Don't focus too much on jobs

Focus on creating a business in Africa, rather than relying on limited job opportunities. Unlike some foreign countries where the government provides many jobs, Africa has few available jobs due to the rich occupying them. With a high population and limited job availability, it is crucial to explore other avenues, such as starting a business, to generate income. Instead of getting frustrated with the job search process, it might be more productive to focus on creating your own business. Job interviews can be a frustrating experience, especially if it seems like the job is already promised to someone else. By putting your energy towards building a business, you can create your own opportunities and work towards your own success.

In Africa, despite the corrupt system in place, 70% of wealthy individuals have turned to business ventures. However, it is not uncommon for some of these individuals to be involved in corrupt practices. Nonetheless, starting a business seems to be the most viable option for avoiding frustration when government aid is lacking and job opportunities are scarce. In such situations, there is never a shortage of potential business opportunities; one just needs to conduct research, identify a problem in their community, and find a way to solve it on a larger scale.

Focusing on business is crucial since governments cannot provide financial support or empowerment. It is not their responsibility to help us grow or create job opportunities. Thus, generating income through business should be our top priority, as it is the most important aspect of finance. Without a steady income, our financial stability is at risk.

Thanks for your time.

It sucks but the government has always been bad at helping the poor with opportunities. I think that the corruption tends to get the politicians and those in power pass laws/rules that benefit themselves. The people down the ladder just get the scraps so the best thing for people is to take advantage of their situation and try to generate income themselves.

The government's inaction is exacerbating the plight of citizens, rather than alleviating it. One solution is for individuals to venture into entrepreneurship, which is a key to prosperity.

Generating income is really a very important part of finance. Going behind the traditional job avenue is arguably the best way to grow one's income in such a way that we have a substantial enough money to save and invest.

Generating income is crucial for success, but unfortunately, many people underestimate its significance. I completely agree that income is the foundation of a successful person

You opened my eyes better and now I should reduce my expectations from the government, reduce the complaints and what have you. Even though they should provide for us but waiting for them is like entering a vehicle without destination

So true ...a lot of business owners doing so well in Nigeria never thinks of relocating to of other countries but maybe visit for holidays only. Business is where the money lies in Africa, no much available jobs for graduates and like you said, discover what your community needs and create business through it..then scaling through will be closer than expected

The Nigerian economy heavily relies on business for generating income as there are limited employment opportunities that fail to provide adequate financial support to an average Nigerian. The large population of Nigeria is the primary factor contributing to the success of the business sector.
