Focus on the little things

I started going to the gym two years ago, and after spending a year, there were no changes and I was even getting fatter. Even though I could carry almost everything at the gym, I was just getting fatter, there is a difference between building muscle and getting fat but I was fat, so I asked myself, what am I doing wrong? So, I realized that the food I consume is too much. I don't have enough rest, and these two factors were the main reasons why I was adding weight. The first mistake was trying to change this immediately. I was trying to change my diet, trying to amend it instantly, which didn't work. I spent three months failing over again before discovering a formula.

The first thing I did was change the little things, and the first one was focusing on my sleep. Before the change, I used to go to bed late and wake up late, which was also affecting my diet because when I woke up late and I wouldn't be able to cook, so I had to buy food from a nearby restaurant, and I don't always have time to do things I want to do, which also affects every aspect of my life and after making change by sleeping early everything changed and I was not only seeing improvement in my diet, but I saw improvement in every aspect of my life, which was a turning point for my body, and this was the same mistake people make by not focusing on the little things.

Focus on the little things

Small changes can lead to big transformations. Oftentimes, we encounter various struggles in life, but if we can consistently implement minor adjustments, we can witness substantial improvements in due time. One common mistake we make is desiring instant change, which can be challenging to achieve. It's crucial to understand that the beginning of any significant transformation starts with small steps. By programming our minds and bodies to adapt to these little changes, we can pave the way for bigger changes to come. This is the perfect foundation for progress.

Most times, the little changes we need to make are often the things we know, but we always want to go big in those changes, which don't always work well, but when we make small changes in the things that matter, it will improve gradually. Instead of starting big, you can start doing it a few minutes a day or something that you wish to do almost every time a day. We can start doing it once a day. Before you know it, you will configure your heart and mind towards this process, and after some time, this process will become easy, and from there, we can see some changes.

Little things add up to big once

We have those that can go a week without eating, but not everybody can do it, and those people that can do it. They build this habit over time, and gradually, they master the art of not eating. With every little change add up to the bigger ones. If you can't do the little ones, you can't do the challenging ones, and everything takes time. Instead of jumping and trying to make big changes at once, doing it gradually can make things easier for us.

I can't agree less on this. It is out of the little things that comes bigger things, if we focus on the little things, we will be able to make positive changes. It was a good thing you were able to figure out and solve your diet plan. I hope you are not getting fat now😏

I agree. Focus on getting things done a little bit at a time. It's hard to get everything done all at once.
