The First Week Test Has Begun!

From the last post, as I have shared that due to lack of time in the HIVE network, delegators have been receiving their fair share in the % they delegated, and shamefully, the last distribution of curation rewards was 38 days later! 😥

shame on me...

The normalisation the last collected HIVE POWER curation rewards, which was 24.014 HIVE POWER within 38 days, that rounds approximately 0.632 HIVE POWER a day, if the rate is good.

So far only a specific few accounts that has bigger delegation % can have this recurring test for a month because the maximum decimal for HIVE is 3. It will just be illogical if hive accounts can barely get 0.001 HIVE be included in the recurring transfer formula.

But what if the recurring amount is under paid / overpaid to the delegators?

Each time when the curation rewards are collected, it will offset from how much this account has paid.

We have to round up to 3 decimals

There isn't many accounts that can receive this, probably those that are 5% and above will benefit from this experiment, while those that are a lot lesser will need to wait until the next curation reward collection to receive the manually sent out shared rewards-by-percentage.

I personally do not know will this lessen my work / increase it (due to offset calculation), but since it is just for the first week I think it is worth giving it a try.

The good thing is that it is transparent from the blockchain so people can do due diligence.

However, that also means that I will need to set aside additional funds just to keep enough HIVE to automatically distribute out.

I don't think I will be able to earn @hivebuzz 's February challenge, but I will still try to keep everyone updated as much as I can
