RE: War never brings peace

You made it rather clear and I could only add "amen"...

Your quote at the beginning basically says it all.
I often talk to my father and some friends that the only way humans will learn what's really important in life is by suffering various global disasters that affect all, including those hiding behind their powerful fortresses... maybe if we are able to survive some thousand more years we could reach the light in our minds.

While we are killing each other, maybe mother earth has something to say, something to teach us since we are only dust in an infinite universe. The Universe may have our destiny written down but we aren't able to see it because of greed.

Cheers

Yes, maybe. But the way we are approaching our demise, I really suspect humanity will last another 200 years, thousand years is too ambitious. Mother nature has been always favourable to us, how long she can withstand the way we torture her you think? We are already witnessing global disasters, unknown pandemics, if this continues which I think will do, I better call myself the luckiest if I manage to leave the world in peace.

The earth finds always a way to compensate things although this may involve extintion of some species... We will be able to survive nature but maybe we won't be able to survive ourselves!

You said it all; we might survive nature but not us. So true. Good to know we share similar concepts towards humanity :)
