My Word for 2024

My Word for 2024 is STEADY.

I have followed Jesse for the last few years. He is an entertaining dude. He is a hype guy for sure and sometimes that gets a little old but I enjoy most of his content.

He actually came and spoke at my last place of work to all the manager. Our CEO had a relationship with him and so he came and spoke. I loved one thing he said then and have followed him ever since. He told us to provide more value than we were paid to provide and then watch and see what happens.

And that is what led me to picking a word for 2024. Some might say its a little cheesy to do something like this but I want to try it for this year and really focus on it. Check Jesses posts about picking a word

.I am going with steady. I have good goals laid out and I am in a better place than I was last year. So I want to remain steady.

I was struggling to come up with a word while thinking of this when I was reminded of the first time I got to talk to my future father in law. He introduced himself and then said that he had gone back and checked out my high school sports stats and that I was a “steady contributor”. I want to continue that this year and contribute where I am needed and to my journey at work, home, hive, and so forth.

I like this definition of steady - regular, even, and continuous in development, frequency, or intensity.

Looking forward to celebrating the new year tonight and then going to bed around 10pm LOL.
