女子世界盃足球賽即將開賽 ! / Women's World Cup soccer tournament is just about to begin !

女子世界盃足球賽（FIFA Women's World Cup）由國際足總主辦，是女子足球最高榮譽的四年一度賽事，由國際足總各成員國參賽。首屆女足世界盃於 1991年在中國廣州舉行，比賽形式為，由各國在三年間的資格賽爭奪31個分組賽席位，東道主將自動進入第32名，小組賽和決賽賽事將在主辦國國內的球場進行，球賽將為期約一個月，2023年女子世界盃由澳大利亞和紐西蘭申辦成功，為首次在南半球舉行賽事，也是首屆由兩國合辦的女子世界盃，2023 女子世界盃足球賽，將於台灣時間 7/20～8/20 在澳洲及紐西蘭開賽了！

早前，台灣女足隊在爭取 2023 女子世界盃足球賽門票時，本有很有機會取得世界盃門票，但在部分球員染疫缺陣的情況下，最終1：2惜敗，錯過世界盃門票，但球迷們別失望，台灣的愛爾達轉播全部64場在紐西蘭和澳大利亞隆重登場賽事，在開幕日、八強階段起進行10場賽事中文製播，讓球迷們能夠欣賞世界最高水準的女子足球賽事。

有別於以往僅有24隊參賽，本屆女子世界盃擴編為32強，也讓總場次增加到64場，和剛結束的卡達世界盃相同，而且由於本屆賽事在紐西蘭和澳大利亞舉辦，和台灣的時差接近，比賽全都在台灣時間上午9點到晚間9點之間開踢，球迷們可以不用熬夜看球賽了，您們高不高興啊。

The upcoming FIFA Women's World Cup 2023 is just around the corner! The FIFA Women's World Cup, organized by FIFA, is the pinnacle event in women's football, held every four years with national teams from FIFA member countries participating. The inaugural Women's World Cup took place in Guangzhou, China in 1991. The tournament follows a format where teams compete in qualification matches over three years to secure one of the 31 group stage spots. The host nation automatically qualifies as the 32nd team. The group stage and knockout matches are played in the host countries' stadiums, spanning approximately one month. In 2023, Australia and New Zealand successfully bid to host the Women's World Cup, marking the first time the tournament will be held in the Southern Hemisphere and co-hosted by two countries. The 2023 Women's World Cup is set to kick off on July 20 and run until August 20 in Australia and New Zealand.

Previously, the Taiwan women's national team had a great chance of qualifying for the 2023 Women's World Cup, but unfortunately, they narrowly missed out with a 1-2 defeat in a match where some players were absent due to COVID-19. However, for Taiwanese fans, don't be disheartened! ELTA Sports, a local broadcasting channel, will provide Chinese-language coverage of all 64 matches from New Zealand and Australia. Starting from the opening day and throughout the quarterfinals, ten matches will be broadcast in Chinese, allowing fans to enjoy the highest level of women's football.

Unlike the previous edition with 24 teams, this World Cup has expanded to include 32 teams, resulting in a total of 64 matches. Just like the recently concluded men's World Cup in Qatar, the matches will have a similar schedule, and due to the proximity of Australia and New Zealand to Taiwan, all matches will be played between 9 am and 9 pm Taiwan time. So, fans won't have to stay up late to watch the games. Isn't that great news?
