A young scholar named Cadoc discovers an ancient tome in the Grand Library of Tessara that speaks of the Seamstress. Driven by a desperate need to undo a tragedy that befell his family, he seeks her out, hoping to convince her to reweave his own thread.

Through a realm where every leaf, every stone, and every drop of water tells the time of a different age, Cadoc journeys to find Elowen's hidden atelier. When he arrives, he is awestruck by the beauty of the cosmic tapestry that surrounds her—its ends fraying into the void.
