In the heart of the city of Veridia, every soul has a melody. Strings of ethereal light, unique to each individual, stretch and dance above the city skyline, connecting them to the Great Maestro's Lyre in the central plaza. The harmony of these strings ensures peace and balance.

Mila, an orphan with no visible string, is considered an outcast. Mocked and isolated, she's grown accustomed to the fringes of society. However, her silent world shatters when she hears a hauntingly familiar tune, one she's sure is her own, being hummed by a mysterious stranger in a crowded market.

Chasing the source, Mila encounters Lio, a young man with a peculiar ability: he can see Mila's string, a luminous thread finer and more exquisite than any he's seen before, but leading somewhere beyond the city.

Together, they embark on a journey following Mila's string, which leads them to forgotten realms and challenges their understanding of Veridia's history. The city's strings, they discover, don’t just connect the people to the Lyre, but to an older, forgotten magic. As Mila's melody becomes clearer, they uncover a plot to sever the city's strings and plunge Veridia into chaos.
