Sunday Reflections ~ Back To Manual Curation For A While

Hello there, how are you out there? I hope you all are having a good weekend right now.

Today is Sunday and as usual I am having this Sunday Reflections post as a quick review of what I have this week. There are two things that have caught my attentions from this week activities and events. Let's start from the first one.

Projects Collapsing

There are 3 projects that I have been investing on HIVE that are dying. One has made a public announcement, which is PGM (Player Gamers Token). Apparently I am one of that token Whales, and personally I would like to take over the project however I do not have the resources to run it.

Rescuing the project is not just like buying a game, paying up and then it is settled. We need a certain set of hard skills, like coding to fix the error and maintain the bot and website while they are running. Its not only internal issue, we will have some external issues especially dealing with previous investors. Lastly of course we need to increase more capital.

Dhedge collapsing because it is one man show and the man is in very tight schedule, extremely busy with his life. Unfortunately the autopilot failed, let say it fucked everyone there so yeah...

The last and not the least, another gaming token is dying. I do not wish to spill the name here, because the developers seem still trying to make a comeback. So I will keep the FUD out from people here. I call it dying because the token price has fallen deep and there is a promise in whitepaper that they can not fulfill until now.

I hope those 3 can get some alternative solutions in coming weeks. Sad to see any projects dying here, especially the good and potential one.

Changing Course

With Dhedge and PGM out from my list, I have more Hive Power (HP) available right now. I have undelegated my HP from there, and I will reconsider to support them later after 3 months. I need to see how they resolve the problem first. For PGM, there is already a serious bidder, but the last info I have that the bidder doesn't get any appropriate response.

For the running next week, I will be using these HP to curate posts manually. Definitely I will be lurking in Free Compliments Communinty and Rising Star Game Community. It won't be a big one, you can not buy anything with $0.04 but atleast in general it will be a good addition to the community.

The question will be:

what is the replacement project ?

Current Focus

Currently there are only two projects that I am heavily participating at. The first one is #saturdaysavers club, actually the real name is @eddie-earner project, part of SPInvest. Uur token is $EDS. EDS is an income token, which if you hold them... every week you will get some dividends from them.

The second one is @cryptocompany CEO, an interactive game which is still under construction. This project is very late, super delayed, however I keep supporting them because I think they are one of the game that HIVE needs. We have too many TCG games right now and in the future... We need more variation from racing, simulation, action adventure and many more.

The Alternatives

With those two still intact, I have several options I could do with this HP...

1. Keep It, Continue Do It Yourself Curation

Manual curation and less delegation is actually not a bad move. You are responsible with the power you have. However this is the last alternative I would like to see, because I really do not have many spare time to read many posts.

Although this is ridiculous but I am straight honest with this. I read what I vote, eventhough I read in speed reading method. Let's be honest, a few curators upvote big some post using big account, and the fact they do not read at all LoL.

So this one is time consuming

2. Push Secondary Projecst, Moar ALIVE or PIMP It Up

I invest good amount of resource in ALIVE and PIMP project. Compared to my focus, they are smaller... less than half. I could decide one of them as the third focus, and put it all into them.

This option is more favorable than the first one. It is less time consuming.

3. Get New Fresh Shit Tokens

The third which is the most favorable one is to check what our neighbors have because... “The grass is always greener on the other side”

I have been looking at $LGN $DBOND and $LEO. $LEO is an awkward choice, because its a tribe token that manages to maintain their price... most tribes fall to oblivion.

$LGN and $DBOND are more or less the same, they are like $EDS, income tokens. $LGN is more straightforward, hold - stake - earn... while $DBOND is a gamification mode, you need to take part in liquid side or staking side, or do both.

What Do You Suggest?

So I still have a few more days to think this over, although there are some options that start to look better than the others. Do you have any suggestions of feedback on this? Do share them below on comments, ok
