Hello Rising Star Gamers

Welcome back again to my Starbits Every Night, a routine post I make on a night time when I play Rising Star Game.

We were having good time with Aqua, a dance pop group from early 2000. So right now I am planning to this December 2023 giveaway to be full of dance pop artist and songs. Last week we had Aqua, so this week I choose Sonique, the same Dance Pop Artist from early 2000.

We have been doing this format since August 2023 and I would like to thank to all Giveaway Participant who kept following on our theme. Below is a table describing how we have run this Giveaway

THE MOURNING SONG

In her entire career, Sonique has made many albums, however only one album who managed to be an international hits everywhere. It's her debut album and that's because there were two outstanding singles in that album... One of those was this, SKY.

Overall, SKY is her second most successful singles after It feels so good. The single was written by Sonique herself. She was a DJ before that's why her songs was thick of dance pop and electronic genre. Together with It Feels So Good, these two singles managed to bring Sonique Best British Female Solo Artist award in 2001.

However not many people know that this was actually a mourning song. Sonique wrote this song, SKY, in memory of her stillborn son. She described that was her worst, most devastating thing that had ever happened to her, losing the baby she had been carrying for eighth months.

Instead of drowning in deep sad, the song conveys a sense of perseverance. It's like an encouragement for people who are struggle in taking life challenges
