Hello Rising Star Gamers

Welcome back again to my Starbits Every Night, a routine post I make on a night time when I play Rising Star Game. This post is a lot delayed because I could not wake up yesterday, had a cold sweat and shivering whole day.

Last week we had Lady GAGA as our theme and this week I have picked TIMBALAND as our weekly theme. This is a bit different than we have done before because Timbaland is a singer-music producer, not a singer. So some of the song might not have him as the singer and today we are having the 6th day of his music.

We have been doing this format since August 2023 and I would like to thank to all Giveaway Participant who kept following on our theme. Below is a table describing how we have run this Giveaway

Shock Value II

This single was part of Timbaland 3rd studio album called Shock Value II which was released on December 2009. It's a weird naming, because people thought Timbaland would come up with other name not just Shock Value II, the same as the previous album Shock Value.

The single was wrote by 4 people, Jim Beans, Michael Busbee , Timbaland, and Timbaland's brother. The last one in some reference was not credited, that's why most of the lyric provider website only gave 3 writers. Why do I believe his brother wrote the song too? well because he did the rap section and most of rapper wrote their own lyric. It's kind of difference with singing.

This song got into top charts in various countries, however it did not get to the peak in US. Later on this song included in Katy Perry Teenage Dream album.

Inspired By Other Hit

In MTV interview, Timbaland admitted that this song was heavily inspired by Black Eyes Peas song, I Gotta Feeling. He said he loved that song so much that we wanted a song which gave similar vibe on his album.

Timbaland also admitted that this song was hard for him because he sang in the song, not doing the rap. He said his singing was not great and kept making mistakes.
