Beehiiv vs Substack - Diversifying Income for Future

I have written a lot of content on the sites which hardly get me cent or two. Most of the efforts get wasted and there is literally not much appreciation let alone support. I am not whale and the way things are going in life it is going to be hard to become one.

In short, diversifying from this point onward is going to be difficult. Life is going to be pretty scary and also the amount of the load that i am experiencing is going to make things a bit more harder as well.

So now the plan is moving to the newsletter, email list and the blogs where I can control the traffic and also monetize in some form. I don't know life is going to continue to make things hard or give me some edge to live on. but here is the plan to start the newsletter.

Choosing Topics

This is very hard. I do multi niche tech tutorials.And that is based on my daily work and the job. So I get to design and the do the code tutorials there. But it is not easy. Instead it gets harder because I can't pick one to rely on. And this means things become harder even more.

I need to find the topic which is easy, has some way to monetize. And also I can get enough traffic that can justify the amount of time I am making use of in the same. I feel that is kind of harder. And if not properly handled this would lead very badly.

Initial Funds

I want to avoid investing initially. Because I have health insurance payments and also variety of other payments to deal with. And adding more of a free service would be the only thing that I can afford and it would make things easier for myself. So that's the path I am going.

I wish the initial funds can be free and also I can learn from others on how to build a better business. But the thing is that if the diversification does not happen. Things are going to be pretty difficult later. So that is one of the thing I have learned.

In short, this is the year to make some progress. I would be writing content in advance and going to put that in schedule. So it auto publishes itself. And in short this may take a bit more time for more hustle to show any output.
