Musk decision to change the iconic Twitter blue bird logo with "X" is believed to have erased one of the most recognizable of social media. What the cost would be? We don't know but I do feel like it will have it's implications.

It took a long journey for Twitter to get here. And lately it has caught some good attention with politicians, celebrities etc having their say in tweets. Would they be able to deliver what they could do before? I don't know as there also are some restrictions as well lately on Twitter.

We also saw Mark Zuckerberg jumping into the ring making its own Twitter type Thread platform that is said to have millions of signups in no time. Now the question is, are Elon Musk recent policies giving space to the new Thread?

I do feel like people start thinking of leaving "X , the then Twitter to Thread by Meta. Twitter users might migrate to Thread on a larger scale.

The strategy of launching"X" is said to be signaling the start of Elon Musk's promised Everything App. But this rapid abandonment of Twitter with no clear plan in place could be a risky move by Elon Musk and have almost destroyed a good deal of brand value.

Hurdles

It could be confusing for users seeing the new transformation of Twitter to "X" and also it may struggle in attracting enough advertisers.

Adding things like shopping and paid subscription content mya help "X" flourish in the longer run by creating multiple earning streams while relying less on big companies willing to spend money according to analysts.

But these abrupt might be confusing for users in the start.

Any thoughts?
