Farming Adventure "Fun Kitchen Spice Garden with Nephews" 🥰🥰

Dear everyone

As you already know, at the beginning of December, all land in our city was wet with rain every day and this made us not go out or have a routine in open spaces like the previous days, so I spent more time with my family at home, and especially I spend a lot of time with my nephew, yeah you could say spending a lot of time and playing games with him is the most beautiful thing in my life.

I am very happy to have a nephew who is very active as if nothing can stop him from moving, even though it is raining heavily he still comes out of the house to bathe under the heavy rain while singing "minabobo" in a rock & roll style ,, OMG can you imagine the joy of children under the rain? I know it's very fun, I also did it many times as a child.

As a kind uncle, of course I can't be restrictive or dictatorial who will turn my nephew's joy into sadness, yeah that's unacceptable behavior for my nephew's age, so I just direct, try to get him to do something which has positive and economic value, even though he is still a minor, the idea of independence needs to be developed, in this case I invited him to plant some great plants in polybags.

So at the beginning of December in between the rainy season, we started a little adventure together, namely planting several kitchen spice plants in polybags, starting from shallots, ginger, turmeric and several others and now everything has grown well, although these are not as good as the farmer's plants. professional but this is very valuable for both of us because it has the value of love and happiness in it, we don't care about the final result, but the most important thing is that we have done it.

And here are some of the plants we planted together at the beginning of December;

and this is "kencur", one type of kitchen spice plant that is most often used for rendang dishes.

and this is "Ginger" which has the scientific name "Zingiber officinale".

and this is "Aloe vera", we often utilize the fresh liquid from this plant for the health of our skin.

This is a type of "Shallot" type kitchen spice plant, usually before harvesting onions we first pick the leaves for the aroma of various dishes.

"Galang or Lengkuas" is one of the most famous types of kitchen spice plants in Indonesia, and this plant has the scientific name "Alpinia galanga".

One of the twin types of turmeric plants, and this plant is known in scientific language as "Curcuma zanthorrhiza".

and this is turmeric, the kitchen spice most often used by people in our city, apart from being used as a cooking ingredient, it is also often used as an ingredient in traditional medicine.

yeah this is our garden when seen from above, I agree this is a simple garden and even small, but this garden makes us happy in the rainy season at the beginning of December.

yeah, I can only hope that this farming trip will be a beautiful memory for me and my nephew, and also a source of inspiration, happiness when we reap the rewards together, we will continue to care for our small garden and enjoy the results!

Thank you very much for visiting my blog, I hope our small garden can provide motivation for you, see you soon 🥰🥰
