I made my first withdrawal on Hive

Hey guys, it is exciting how you can do what you love and earn tokens and rewards while on it. I heard about hive from my friend who had been blogging for a while and had been inviting me to join the community. I was skeptical but joined when he gave me the load down of ehn goes on in the community: the knowledge being shared and how I can impact my community too.

When I just joined Hive, I was in doubt that I could earn at all, I decided to just join since I love the community spirit. Okay This feeling did not last for too long as I started earning immediately I made my first post - the welcome post.

That phase passed and I started thinking, will I really be able to see this earnings in my personal bank account? Withdraw from there and solve some real life problems ? The questions kept coming. However, I jolt on blogging.

But guys, guess what!!!!! I earned and saw my earnings physically in cash! Do I sound too excited? Yes?? Well, I can’t contain it!

In this post, I want to share with the community how I made my first withdrawal. I haven't learnt how to carry out the transaction on Binance yet, so I used a third party @gracefieldhub who helped me swap my tokens. Guys, I cannot hold in my excitement. I need to share, just in case someone is wondering how to go through this.

First, I went in to my profile and clicked on my wallet as seen on the photo below.

After this, I went on to click on the arrow right under my earned Hive Backed Dollars (HBD) as seen in the photo below.

Since I had the quantity of HBD I wanted to withdraw in mind, I typed in the exact quantity and typed in the account to whom I wanted to send also seen below.

I sent a tokay of 5HBD as seen below and was credited in my currency equivalent in to time.

I know you would be asking what I did with my first withdrawal😀. Well, If you know me well, you know I am a lover of good food. And yes, you’re guessing right, my first payout went straight to buying something to munch on! I bought a good plate of rice, coleslaw and meat to accompany😋

This has taught me that making money is possible on hive and being consistent with blogging, following the rules of the platform is the key and indeed the best way to make money here on Hive.

Also guys, this first withdrawal has an effect. My sister has joined hive because she loves the community and has seen that she can do what she loves to do and earn while at it. This is her introduction post, please welcome her and make her to the community.
