Rising Star - Time Person of the Year: Taylor Swift

Wow and many congratulations to this great music talent, Taylor Swift, for being named Time's Person of the Year for her contributions in 2023.

It if just amazing to see a music artist have this much impact and truly shows what you can accomplish when you put your mind to it. I think it is very good that person with such positive outlook was choose for Time's Person of the Year. My only wish going forward is that more positive people are highlighted so that it can spread since there is so much darkness and pain in the world today. I can't wait to see what positive things will be done in 2024.

Rising Star Game

The RisingStar game is on the Hive Blockchain. It is a card collection game that allows you to experience the struggles of becoming a musician. Rising from the lowly ranks of a busker to being the headliner of your own tour and everything in between.

Rising Star Stats

I have a total of 1425 cards in my collection of which 588 cards are unique. My lowest stat is IM which only at 387. I need to see about adding cards which have IM so that I can increase that stat more but I believe that stat is only on people cards and lately I have been mostly adding instrument cards.

The prior month I had not been very active so this week I was trying to see if I could make a big impact on my ranking by being more active on a daily basis.

Progress and Ranking

This week was the first week that I was active on a daily basis and it really shows in my ranking.

My ranking jumped to 261 from 308 last week. This is a great improvement which I will try to improve upon and try to make my new normal.

Acquired New Unique Cards

This past week due to running missions more consistently, I was able to earn a lot more Starbits. I was able to earn 42196 Starbits which I will be using to purchase new unique cards.

I had a few Starbits left over from last week so my total to use to purchase is 46,864 Starbits.

With that amount, I was able to purchase 6 new unique cards for my collection.

These new unique cards will provide me with 600 Fans, 15 Luck, 475 Skill and 11 IM which should help my ranking and push me up higher than my current ranking of 261.

Missions

By being more active, I was able to run more missions. My total missions are up to 5880 only 120 away from the next milestone for an award. Being more active also helps me keep my eye on where I stand in all of the various mission boards. I am now at level 138 and hopefully keep moving steadily up to reach level 150 for the next mission to unlock.
