dCity - First Top 400 Ranked Rewards and New Background
New Background
The new background I purchased looks great with my dcity in the foreground. However it does make my city look very tiny and if you were driving down the road and blinked you would probably miss it.
First Top 400 Ranked Rewards
This is the first time that I have been in any of the Top 400 Ranked Rewards and received Liquid Hive Income as a result. Last week I added several students to my dCity to receive the Tax Refunds so that my daily SIM was increased. This had a double effect of increasing my daily SIM income but also with the Tax Refunds, I am not receiving daily liquid Hive Ranked Rewards in the INCOME category.
I am currently receiving 14 SIM tokens on a daily basis. This has helped me to rank 393 in the top 400. Looking at the ranking, I am just barely in. A small change in others SIM income or if one of my four Student cards turn into Student (debt), I would lose my ranking in the top 400.
Additional Tax Refund
Since I am just barely in the top 400 INCOME ranking, I decided to purchase another card that provides a tax refund.
This week I picked the "Economist" card which provides 1 Population, 1 Popularity and 3 Income. It also provides 1 Tax Refund. This should boost my daily SIM from 14 to 15 and move me higher in the ranking and give me some breathing room in case something changes in my city.
Other Token Income
I am also receiving three other tokens from the cards in my dCity.
- WEED: 0.013
- GAMER: 0.31
- BEER: 0.001
Currently these are all very small amounts but it is a start and provides something to grow upon.
Ful Automated Brewery
Since my BEER token income is the smallest, I decided to help grow that amount this week by purchasing the "Full Automated Brewery" card. This card doubles BEER production in my dCity. It will not make much difference currently but down the road when I add more Breweries the difference will start to show.
New dCity Map
As I add more cards each week, my dCity is starting to change from a small village to small town. I will still need to grow it further for it to be a real city but I am find with taking it slowly.
