Digital Property is what we have as the greatest treasure in Hive. It is its main characteristic. That's where everything should start from. However, it is not the most desirable. For example, if we only sold Hive as a place where you have your property, almost nobody would come. I myself would not have come.

This is something that we can see not only in people who don't know about Hive and have everything to discover. It's something you often see in people who have been here for years. They have not taken ownership of their account.

These days someone told me that if they didn't support him he wouldn't do anything. This person posts and gets voted on, but doesn't get support for big projects. He has years on Hive and is the living example that he has not assumed that his account is his business.

Hive is a place to build community based businesses. If you have years here and haven't seen it you have a problem XD. If you did see it and consciously chose to just stay and post, that's fine. If you want to start a business and you don't do it because of lack of "support", you have a problem or the problem is you, not the people who don't support you.

In Hive and in life, it is normal that there are people who are highly rewarded and supported, who do not add value and others who do, who are not valued. We should not care about that. When we are clear that something is our property, we do not wait for a third party to take care of it.

If you want to start a business, do it, the support will come. We at @rutablockchain spent years doing activities without support. Some of them we did, but most of them we did not. Only once we were delegated by a whale because we won a contest, not because I wanted it XD. Most of the things we did with our money, or also among the community, like this video when we made a torch and gathered together.

Now we have more support, but first we showed a lot of work. It didn't come because of my beautiful hair. We have always seen this as a business and we look for ways to increase income with new projects, several without the need for sponsorship, delegation or votes.

In all this time I have seen many people leave Hive, because it is no longer profitable for them. They came for a salary. A "fixed" income that would feed them. As the currency drops or they lose a whale of a vote, they no longer see the point. These people are actually employees of the system, of the whales. They will always depend on their votes to eat, as they do not invest in themselves.

All the people who left Hive because they were no longer being voted for or because the currency went down, they never understood the power of digital ownership, the power of building businesses here at Hive. I don't blame them; in fact they are the majority, it's the mass that thinks that way. The education system teaches to be that way; to look for an allowance.

I don't think it's our job here at Hive to change that mentality either, although it might happen, but it's going to depend more on the person themselves than on the blockchain.

All of this is why sometimes we don't sell to Hive. We don't do the closing. If we focused it on digital property almost nobody would come, because people care little about ownership. They want a boss to pay them, a bank to hold their money and a state to take care of them with taxes.

La Propiedad Digital es eso que tenemos como el mayor tesoro en Hive. Es su principal característica. Desde ahí debería de partir todo. Sin embargo no es lo más deseado. Por ejemplo, si solo vendiéramos a Hive como un lugar donde tienes tu propiedad, casi nadie vendría. Yo mismo no habría llegado.

Esto es algo que no solo lo podemos ver en personas que no saben de Hive y tienen todo por descubrir. Es algo que se ve con frecuencia en personas que tienen años aquí. No han asumido la propiedad de su cuenta.

En estos días alguien me dijo que si no lo apoyaban no haría nada. Esta persona publica y le votan, pero no consigue apoyo para proyectos grandes. Tiene años en Hive y es el vivo ejemplo que no ha asumido que su cuenta es su negocio.

Hive es un lugar para construir negocios con base en comunidades. Si tienes años aquí y no lo has visto tienes un problema XD. Si lo viste y de manera consciente, elegiste solo quedarte y publicar, está perfecto. Si quieres emprender y no lo haces por falta de "apoyo", tienes un problema o el problema eres tú, no la gente que no te apoya.

En Hive y en la vida, es normal que exista gente muy recompensada y apoyada, que no aporta valor y otros que sí lo hacen, que no sean valorados. Eso nos tiene que dar igual. Cuando tenemos claro que algo es de nuestra propiedad, no esperamos a un tercero para cuidarlo.

Si quieres emprender hazlo, el apoyo irá llegando. Nosotros en @rutablockchain estuvimos años haciendo actividades sin apoyo. Algunas sí lo tuvimos, pero la mayoría no. Solo una vez nos delegó una ballena porque ganamos un concurso, no porque lo haya querido XD. La mayoría de las cosas las hicimos con nuestro dinero, o también entre la comunidad, como este video cuando hicimos una antorcha y reunimos entre varios.

Ahora tenemos más apoyo, pero primero demostramos mucho trabajo. No llegó por mi hermoso cabello. Siempre hemos visto esto como un negocio y buscamos las formas de aumentar ingresos con nuevos proyectos, varios sin necesidad de un patrocinio, delegación o votos.

En todo este tiempo he visto a muchas personas irse de Hive, porque ya no les es rentable. Vinieron por un sueldo. Un ingreso "fijo" que les diera para comer. Al bajar la moneda o perder el voto de una ballena, ya no le ven sentido. Estas personas en realidad son empleadas del sistema, de las ballenas. Siempre dependerán de sus votos para comer, ya que no invierten en si mismos.

Todas las personas que se fueron de Hive porque ya no les votaban o porque bajó la moneda, nunca entendieron el poder de la propiedad digital, el poder de construir negocios aquí en Hive. No los culpo; de hecho son la mayoría, es la masa la que piensa de esa manera. El sistema educativo enseña a ser así; buscar una mesada.

Creo que tampoco es nuestro trabajo aquí en Hive, cambiar esa mentalidad, aunque pudiera darse el caso que se haga, pero va a depender más de la propia persona que de la blockchain.

Por todo esto es que a veces no vendemos a Hive. No hacemos el cierre. Si lo enfocamos en la propiedad digital casi nadie vendría, porque a la gente poco la importa la propiedad. Quieren un jefe que les pague, un banco que guarde su dinero y un Estado que los cuide con impuestos.
