The Current APY for DAB Tokens and Weekly Projections for the Next Year

Before we start - Understand that DBOND is a BOND

By buying a DBOND, you're giving @dailydab a loan, and we agree to pay you back the face value of the loan when we open liquidity, and pay you interest payments equal to a 15% APY in the form of DAB (equal to 1 HIVE per token) along the way.

Lets get into the Meat and Potatos of the Post

If DAB is valued at 1 HIVE each, below are projections for the DAB APY for the next year in weeks. I have not factored in increased income from growth and really lowballed the numbers. Better to say 20% and yield 25%, right?

• HP Balance - This increases by 200 HP per week which we already power up each week.
• DAB Supply - The circulating supply of DAB tokens
• DAB Mintage - The weekly amount of DAB minted based on 90k DBOND being staked
• Weekly Reward Pool - This is the amount HIVE to be split between circulating DAB
• DAB APY% - This represents the APY for each DAB token if it were valued at 1 HIVE each. This APY would be paid in daily HIVE drips.

So you can see it's pretty high and even after 1 year, it'll still be over 70%. This is because we are starting off with lots and lots of HIVE POWER and not that many DAB tokens. 2 weeks ago, there were 1500 DAB in circulation and 52k HP, today there is 1800 DAB and 90k HP. If you check your HIVE wallet, you'll see that yesterday, your DAB HIVE drip increased by around 65% and it will dip over the coming weeks but it'll remain alot higher than what you were receiving last week.

How can we value DAB?

We?? Nah, nah, you. This will be for the troops to decide. Its pretty easy to work out the DAB APY and then pay what you are willing to accept as an APY if that makes sense but keep in mind, holding a static balance of DAB will result in declining daily HIVE drips because more DAB are being minted by people that hold DBOND and are keeping up with DAB inflation if that makes sense.

DAB APY = (Weekly Reward Pool / DAB circulation * 52.18)

The Reward Pool and DAB circulating amounts or in each weekly update post. If you were happy to receive a 50% APY as an example. Based on the current APY being 572%, you could pay 11.44 HIVE for a DAB token. I would not recommend it but thats what the current numbers are. In a year's time, they will not be so good.

How do I get DAB?

Currently, there are 2 ways to get DAB.

1/ Buy it at an inflated price on hive-engine
2/ Buy some of the remaining DBOND for sale here at 1 HIVE each and mint DAB equal to 15%+ per year for a few decades.

The 2nd batch of DBOND which is currently listed started at 50,000 DBOND and 38,000 have been sold. When the remaining 12,000 sell out, it will be 8-12 weeks before we release the next batch. I noticed a real slowdown in DBOND sales after 3-4 days from listing and maybe people are starting to get their fill. We plan to make the next batch smaller and possibly the last batch because we'd like to move on to other tokens.

These other tokens will be ways to mint DBOND but will also be used to fund HP's growth.

As an example, we could release a DAB Club curation bot where people delegate HP to get DBOND tokens and we could say it'll earn 8% APY from curation. If 75% was paid out as DBOND to delegators and 25% funded growth, you would receive 60 DBOND over the course of 1 year if you delegated 1000 HP.

The great thing today and the soon-to-be rare thing is you can buy 1000 DBOND for 1000 HIVE. Sure, you dont own the HIVE any more but you own 1000 DBOND pegged and backed to 1000 HIVE and someday after we stop selling them DBOND, we'll after liquidity to sell out at 1 HIVE each plus you'll have whatever DAB you minted while holding them.

I see people in the DISCORD server starting to talk strategy. Its pretty cool to see people talking about it. Some are going all in and staking all their minted DAB, others are using collected-up HIVE drips to buy more DBOND and a few are selling DAB to buy more DBOND and lock in a profit and mint more DAB in the future. If you mint DAB from DBOND at 15% and you sell your DAB at 6 HIVE which people are paying, you are making a 90% ROI per year or 90% more DBONDS if you reinvest the HIVE.

There will only be added layers to @dailydab and they will all link back to DBOND and DAB until 1 million DBOND are issued and then another token will issue DAB because there are 100 billion of those because you never know, HIVE might 100x someday and we might need to split the token, lol.
