Campaign Update: DAB Weekly Operations Highlights | 001

Goday Dadders. It's twenty-one hundred and this week's statistics have been generated and are ready to upload to the DAB trumps!

What is @dailydab?

DailyDab is an income token that rewards DAB token holders with a daily HIVE payout. There is no initial sale or pre-mining of DAB tokens, and the total distribution will happen through different tokens, starting with DBONDS.

All the HIVE collected from selling DBONDS and other tokens will be used to power up the @dailydab wallet. This HIVE POWER generates a profit, which is used to fund growth and the daily DAB HIVE payout. As our project grows, the HIVE payout for investors will increase over time, making DailyDabs sustainable in the long run.

Our goal is to create a complete HIVE ecosystem centred around Daily DAB, providing a daily HIVE payout. We plan for this project to operate and grow for many years. If you intend to be part of the HIVE community for a long time, consider earning a sustainable HIVE income.

The HIVE POWER balance is increasing each week but not by that much, when we release the next batch of DBOND tokens next Sunday, we will see our HIVE POWER balance get a nice boast. We would like to raise 100k HIVE from DBONDs and all that HIVE will be powered up which increases the HIVE drip pool and results in higher payments to DAB holders because HP growth during DBOND token sales will be faster than the increase in DAB circulation. We've got off to an amazing start!!

This week we minted and issued 91.44 DAB tokens to DBOND token stakers. DAB mintage will increase by roughly 65% next Sunday and this results in current DBOND stakers APY increasing from 15% to closer to 25%. This will return back to 15% as DBOND tokens are bought and staked until the batch of sold out.

Great to see over 50% of DABBERs staking their tokens to compound down and earn extra DBOND. When token holders stake their DAB, the HIVE they would have got from their HIVE drip is instead compounded into the @dailydab HIVE POWER balance. This helps massively with future growth.

The weekly DRIP treasury amount this week is the last of our 3 week double DRIPs promo. Because we were earning HIVE presale, we decided to double HIVE drips for the first 3 weeks until the 1st batch of public DBOND goes on sale. Thats the bad news. The good news is, we'll be selling lots of DBOND and powering up HIVE which in turn will increase this pool.

We will not see many new players in these first few weeks because you either have DBOND and are minting DAB are you dont. In the future, as we release more batches of DBOND and new people will become involved or we release new ways to distribute DAB and more new people will join in. With the size of HIVE as it is, finishing the year with 250-300 players would be a win.

The past week has been great and staking DAB seems to be popular among the troops. This week we relax a little and prepare for releasing the 1st public batch of DBOND tokens next week and every 3 months after. We are still deciding on the batch size because we want it to sell out fast but not too fast leaving people behind.

The APY for the DAB token is not something that will be reported each week as DAB is hard to value cause its value comes from its HIVE drip yield. Based on last week's HIVE drips, 1 DAB yielded 0.53 HIVE over 7 days. If DAB is valued at 1 HIVE each, this is an APY of 2,765%.

Just for fun, let us value DAB if the APY was a solid 25%. In today's terms, if DAB were valued at 110.60 HIVE each, its APY based on last week's HIVE drips would be 25%. This does not mean the DAB token is worth over 110 HIVE each and I would never recommend buying DAB for even 20% of that price because many more DAB will be minted in the future. This is just for fun but it does give a ballpark figure for those that like stats.
