Hitting up the weekend #freewrite self picking prompt of "Quit" wanting to write out a little of what I think/feel about the #newsteem meets Tronit Inc situation 😅 I had premonitions of what we are seeing happen ... maybe I just know people ...
So we have seen the first phase of results from the Steemit Inc purchase by Tron AKA Justin Sun, I had been expecting a more severe response from the community to be honest. "Steema Carta" as stated by Aggroed seems to be a much smarter move then what I was expecting, aimed at giving everyone time to think and make wise decisions with plenty of time for communication.
I wonder how long @Ned had been looking for an opportunity to quit @Steemit? At least Justin Sun has not been forked out like I am certain Ned had feared, I wonder if Ned informed Justin of all the arrangements and promises made for use of the "ill-gotten" stake purchased by Justin?
So many dirty little secrets are coming to light, things people had hoped to move on from talking about now smack dab in the middle of every discussion. Ton's of fear and frustrations being directed at whom ever happens to voice an opinion leaning in either the Tron or Steemit direction.
Times like these I fall back to my roots, when things are tough what got me started will get me through. Even I have had moments feeling like I should quit like I have seen so many do already but never have I followed through, I got them roots to thank for that.
This occasion those roots are growing from the very person I have linked above, always looked up to the dude for what he does for us all and is one of the few I trust has the best Steeming intentions in mind...

I think the key with Steem has always to engage with people on the platform itself, and try to make deeper connections.
Whatever happens, your keys are yours and no one else’s. I like to think of my Steem account as a business where I control everything I do.
Never quit. While Steem isn’t perfect, you’re making a name for yourself and a brand and getting paid to do it. Steem is still very very young and will get better over time.
I would hate to think of this as a business 😅 I'm so far in the hole 😝
Well, yeah we all are with the Steem price. It I hope it does moon at some point soon.
