Nintendo has posted a new song for Deep Cut with the title "Big Betrayal". This one is a funny song about Big Man who's already made a team with 2 girls but is still a fan of their seniors (Squid Sisters). Why is it so dramatic? If you play the story of Splatoon 3, you'll know the reason. I don't want to give the spoiler for that 🙏. The interesting one from this video is if you're in Splatoon Fandom, you'll see that all Splatoon songs are known in gibberish and it's not karaoke-able because it's hard to find the official lyrics. There are just some songs of Squid Sisters that we got the official lyrics in public. AND... This new song "Big Betrayal" has the translated version of what they're talking and also they made the karaoke-able lyrics in that video. This is one step for Splatoon fans to sing Splatoon songs with confidence in the real lyrics.

Deep Cut is a trio of idols that comes to Splatoon 3 and like other Idols for Splatoon games. They are working as MCs for Splatcast in Splatsville. You can take a photo with them in Splatsville like me in my Nintendo Switch.

Deep cut is the most unique rather than their seniors (Squid Sisters and Off The Hook). Why? They consist of 3 species:

• Shiver (an Octoling)
• Big Man (a Manta Ray)
• Frye (an Inkling)

Deep Cut also has 1 male character (Big Man) while their seniors are 2 female characters. Well, he's just saying with an "Ay!" sound with many meanings like Pokemon but they are teams. You can see the splatcast every time you play Splatoon 3 like the image below. He's saying "Ay!" which has meaning, "Here we go!".

While my favorite song in Splatoon is still Calamari Inkantation by Squid Sisters, Anarchy Rainbow by Deep Cut and Calamari Inkantation 3MIX by Deep Cut & Squid Sisters are good too. Anarchy Rainbow is used for the Splatfest song in Splatoon 3 and Calamari Inkantation 3MIX is a mix song collaboration between Deep Cut and Squid Sisters on Nintendo Live 2022.
