Kimami Seviyan: A Delicious Indian Dessert

Hello friends,
Today i will share a recipe of kimami seviyan. Kimami Seviyan is a traditional Indian dessert that delights the taste buds with its amazing flavor and creamy texture. It's a delightful treat for the occasion of Eid.

Ingredients:
1/2 kg vermicelli (seviyan)
1 cup milk
1 cup khoya, crumbled
1 cup sugar
Assorted nuts (almonds, cashews, raisins), chopped
1 cup ghee (clarified butter)
Grated coconut
Cardamom powder for flavor

Instructions:
Gather all the necessary ingredients. Chop the nuts, crumble the khoya, and set aside.

Heat ghee in a pan over medium heat.
Add the vermicelli and roast until golden brown, stirring regularly. Roasting enhances the flavor of the seviyan.

In a separate saucepan, heat half the ghee. Add cardamom powder and let it sizzle, then add milk and sugar. Boil the milk mixture well.then add orange food colour and half nuts.

Add the roasted vermicelli to the milk mixture and mix well.

Add half of the crumbled khoya and chopped nuts. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes on low heat.

Once the vermicelli is cooked, sprinkle the remaining khoya,ghee on top along with grated coconut. Cover and let it sit for 5 minutes.

Transfer the Kimami Seviyan to serving bowls.
Garnish with grated coconut on top. Serve hot or cold, as per your preference.
