Today i will share a recipe stir fried torae.This stir-fried torae( ridge gourd) curry recipe offers a delightful twist to your regular curry routine. This dish is not only delicious but also incredibly easy to prepare. Let's get started with the recipe.

Ingredients:

๐Ÿช” 1/2 kg medium-sized torae (ridge gourds)

๐Ÿช” 1 onion, ๐Ÿง… chopped


๐Ÿช” 1 Tomato ๐Ÿ…

๐Ÿช” 4 cloves of garlic ๐Ÿง„ minced

๐Ÿช” 3 green chili, finely chopped (adjust according to your spice preference)

๐Ÿช” 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
๐Ÿช” Salt to taste
๐Ÿช” 2 tablespoons oil
๐Ÿช” Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

๐Ÿ‘‰Method of Preparation

๐ŸŒž First, wash the torae, peel it, and then cut it into thin, round slices.

๐ŸŒž Then Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
๐ŸŒž Add minced garlic and chopped green chili and chopped onions and saute until they turn translucent.


๐ŸŒž Add thinly sliced torae to the pan. Stir to coat them evenly with the spice mixture.


๐ŸŒž Now, add chopped tomatoes ,salt and mix well.

๐ŸŒž Cover the pan and cook on low heat for about 8-10 minutes, or until the ridge gourd is tender but still retains its shape. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.

๐ŸŒž Once the torae is cooked, remove the lid and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to let any excess moisture evaporate.

๐ŸŒž Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves.

Serve hot with roti, paratha and dal rice.
