This Is Not Luck

Over the past 3 weeks both of my main crypto investments besides Hive have risen in considerable value nearly doubling the portfolio value. This I feel kind of justifies the hours of research that has taken place and why these investments were selected over everything else.

There is no luck involved here because luck would basically mean you selected the crypto investments blindly having no idea what they even do. Money is hard enough to earn so wasting it on guesswork is not something I can afford and need to know the odds of success are high due to the research.

In a raging bull market everyone can look smart because it is not investments you tend to hold and is more for profit. The Bear market on the other hand offers you the time to find what you might think will be successful tokens by reading up and following their progress. This is actually good fun because you learn so much and you are educating yourself at the same time.

I do think the development and technology within the crypto eco system is changing at lightning speed compared to what we have seen before. Five or 6 years ago not only the numbers of cryptos to choose from was far less, but the majority were all having unproven technology. The white papers stated what was being planned meaning it was still needed to be developed and were projects under construction.

Today we have projects that have created use cases that are working within the real world adding value through the technology they are offering. The majority of crypto is not there yet and many will fail to get over the finish line. The research that is continuous is what is going to make your portfolio more successful compared to those that skip the work that is required.

We know the alt tokens can do a 100x or even a 1000x in a very short period of time with some popping already. It is not surprising to see people curiously searching on Google to find out what is going on. We cannot research every crypto and I wish I could because there are hundreds of crypto's that are seriously undervalued for what they offer.

The task I set myself 2 years ago was to find just 5 crypto investments that had real life utilities and to grow those bags as big as possible. That is also still a work in progress with only 2 of the 5 meeting my requirements and the bags still need topping up to a point I feel comfortable enough to move on.

Creating and growing a proper portfolio takes time and effort and the rate I am going to have 5 crypto's that stand out from the crowd it will take many more years to achieve. Someone who invests with no research involved will not understand this part as it is more about investing before the crowd arrives who will inevitably push the price up meaning you are already too late.

One can have no regrets because we miss opportunities all the time and why when we uncover gems that others have missed or thought were dead projects we have to jump in fast and make the growth time count. The VeChain is a prime example that I also like the majority of crypto thought was dead and buried due to it's lack of doing much. Once you start digging spending hours on the research you start to see a different story unfold and why everyone missed this latest price rise.
