How Early Are We?

We are so early all we can do is wait for everyone else to arrive. Sometimes you wonder if we are in the wrong place, but deep down we know everyone is still coming and just need patience.

How many times have we arrived at the airport early and our flights aren't even up on the board yet? Not that often in my case but the closer the flight time arrives the more people start to appear and no one has any idea you were early as it makes very little difference. Everyone boards at the same time but this is different in crypto and the earlier you are involved the better and on places like Hive and Leo it is obvious who the early adopters are by their stake values as they stand out like beacons with flashing lights.

The crypto world that we know it is changing constantly and nothing ever stands still and this is expected as it is a disruptive technology. Looking back just over the last 6 months it is staggering to see how things have developed and moved on. The addition of defi has changed things with the idea of investors staking and holding their crypto and earning at the same time.

This is nothing new to the users of Hive as we have been doing that already in a different form as our investment/stake allows us to earn in other ways. I watched the video the other day with theycallmedan at the OK University and found it interesting to see the students who were watching were involved in crypto but had no idea about what Hive was and what it offered.

The crypto world you would hope would be the well informed knowing what was happening in the industry yet the truth is many have no idea. Crypto is still at it's early stages with millions still needing to find Hive over the coming years via some form or another whether it is through Leofinance or another dapp.

Just think if a million people suddenly arrived tomorrow there is roughly 410 Million Hive as the market cap. This means there is enough for 410 Hive each but that isn't quite true as there are accounts holding stake already so that means there is far less available plus what is being traded on the exchanges. This highlights that there will be a shortage of liquidity at some point which should reflect in the price.

The real beauty of Hive is the ability to reward others and at the same time rewarding yourself through your actions on the account. The idea of having people earning a monthly income through Hive and the other dapps is a certainty at some point. Some already are which has proven the system works in certain countries of the world. For the bulk of us we will have to wait as the standard of living is not cheap enough to live the dream just yet.

I have seen predictions of others who expect a $10 Hive in the years to come and don't think they are crazy as this project has only just started. I expect to see plenty of people joining looking at the value held by some accounts wondering why and how that was even possible in the same way we look at the rich list on Leofinance. The right time at the right place and being involved early is the answer like everything else in life and why we are all fortunate to be here right now as we are so early it is crazy.

even if btc reaches 100k i don't think it's that profitable for the average joe. You can buy other altcoins that have more potential to triple or even more their price like hive per se

now if btc reaches 500k then ohh shittt :P

I never realised it before you said it clearly: if 1 million people join tomorrow there’s 410 hive for each bit actually a lot less than that with existing stakes...
1 million is not much when you think about it, ok not tomorrow but with a big adoption it could go very fast.
Indeed price will go through the roof.
What would happen to the rewards ? And the RCs ? That would be mind-blowing.

I think the tribalism that is present with a lot of chains/projects contributes to that. People don't want to be involved with Hive or whatever because they are so tied to this chain or that chain. I think if we could remove those barriers that would definitely help. Shedding Steem was definitely a move in the right direction for Hive.

Sometimes I want to invest 50,000 USD in HIVE and then hire myself as an onboarder of other crypto companies.

Sounds like a plan to me! I agree with you. How awesome would it be to become an insta whale and just spread the love to everyone.

Well, I wouldn't be magnanimously spreading love - I would put myself in charge with on boarding and get enough users to raise the HIVE price X 10 and really grow my money.

I would concentrate on other cryptos and starting blogs for them here.

A 50,000 investment that could grow to 500,000 plus me using all the liquid earnings as my income.

Hmmmmm. Now I just need the 50,000 USD
