COTI Update

With all that has gone down in the last few days knowing COTI's team is based in Tel Aviv it kind of puts the crypto into perspective. Obviously the priority now is not so much development, but making sure the team and country are safe. The team has become part of the investors life as over the years you tend to get to know them through their updates due to being closely involved.

COTI is registered in Gibraltar, but the head office is in Tel Aviv so I am sure there are contingency plans not that I think they will be needed. Israel is known for it's military and not a country you mess with. Unlike other countries you do your National Service and there is a bond with all the Jewish people.

This also got me thinking that COTI would most likely partner with local online companies based in Tel Aviv first due to their contacts. I know my army buddies from over 30 years ago and the bonds we have and the networking that takes place due to the closeness of the relationships. Everyone knows someone and it is a brotherhood where everyone looks out for each other and only if you have experienced it do you understand this.

I do think it is going to be a gaming company out of Israel who have 276 gaming tech startups. Some of the big names include PlayTikka but I don't think it is that as this is more a gambling enterprise COTI have linked up with.

Playtech and 888.com are more likely the candidates I expect to be announced within the next month or so being the Enterprise token. Israel just through gambling online produces nearly $100 billion per year in revenue and fits the information we already know being millions of transactions daily. I juts don't see PlayTikka producing that type of revenue even though they have over 35 million online subscribers and have a valuation of $2.5 billion.

I don't know why but it makes sense to have your first major partnership on your doorstep with people you know and trust as that is exactly how I would do it.

Anyway enough of trying to guess who it is going to be I just hope thigs calm down a bit and the people of Israel can get on with their lives without having the worries. The world is not normal and hasn't been for some time and the hope is we can get back to normality soon enough. Crypto is not that important when stuff like this is going on and can take a backwards step if need be as life and security take precedent over everything else.
