I'm also learning about Nostr (fooling around aimlessly mostly!). Like you say and being Web3, there are kind of similarities with Hive. This helps me understand things. Then, it operates differently, of course. one similarity is the front ends...they all look and act a bit differently, but all hook into Nostr. I'm checking out NostrGram right now, hadn't heard of it before. I wrote yesterday about how I now have 40 sats and was proud of my 1.2 pennies! 😀

It does show how far Hive has come that Nostr is trying to build what is already existing here. I am interested to see how it develops because it is also moving people over from logging in with username and password to more cryptography authentication. So far there are 500k+ Nostr members, lets see how fast it grows and if more users may come to Hive.
