None of this article is financial/investment/legal advice, it contains a strategic valuation analysis of speculative assets that can be subject to market fluctuations. You are suggested to seek out a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) for all investments and the author is not an RIA. Splinterlands' Terms of Service identifies Splinterlands/Steem Monsters as not being an Investment Company. As defined by the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations, Steem Monsters (the parent company of Splinterlands) and the Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) that was published by Steem Monsters can be argued to rise to the definition of being classified as Financial Institutions in the United States. This is a duty to warn and inform given that the actions to be described regard the valuation of assets and speculation of events to take place.

Chaos Legion Edition has been taking a beating due to the oversupply, but in the case of Gold Foil cards, there's at least some semblance of scarcity. In some way, this is much like catching a falling knife because some of these cards are in freefall, but maybe you're a Captain Save-a-Card and your purchase will fuel the future recovery in price. Whatever the case may be, these are cards at relative or all-time lows that are ripe for the picking.

1. Lichen Beast

The Gold Foil Lichen Beast is part of the Riftwatchers subset of Chaos Legion and it has been falling in price. Is it necessarily a strong card for gameplay? Not necessarily. However, Lichen Beast has scarcity and opportunity to be used for Land.

At 49.9 cents per card, this is an All-Time Low for the Gold Foil Lichen Beast.

2. Night Ghoul

Maybe it is because the presence of bots is going to diminish, but the Gold Foil Night Ghoul was both a very bankable card from the perspective of a cardlord and a card that once offered a great deal of potential for large returns as a flipper. Here we are though with the Gold Foil Night Ghoul selling for $1.61 per card, which is a shade above the All-Time Low of $1.585.

Could this card double in price? Yes, but it remains to be seen if it does.

3. Arachne Thug

Remember when Gold Foil Arachne Thug would go for an extremely high price on the secondary market and the rental price for Gold Foil Arachne Thug was sky high? This card can be had for $1.798. Arguably, the best reach card of the Death Splinter in the Modern Format is right here for that price.

4. Kelya Frendul

How did one of the most popular summoners in Splinterlands fall so far? With prices as low as $11 per BCX and $11.50 per card, it's a bargain to grab this Gold Foil card. Unless, you think that this summoner will fall below $10, which is still possible (it went for $10 per BCX four days ago). After all, Gold Foil Obsidian is $7.31 per card and near All-Time Lows. Gold Foil Thaddius Brood is at All-Time Lows fetching $6.468 per card.

But you're here for the Dollar Menu Special...

5. Silent Sha-vi and Disintegrator

Get two Gold Foil cards at All-Time Lows for less than a Dollar Menu item with sales tax.

Both cards have fallen significantly and if you don't have them, they can be added. These are two cards that used to go for $1-$1.30 per card. However, the bear market changed a lot of things.

Get both cards for $1.039. Use MonsterMarket and get them both for almost $1 because of the cash back incentive.

Ba-da-ba-ba-ba I'm lovin' it.
