Cuando somos madres, hay momentos en la vida de nuestros hijos que no podemos olvidar jamás, es así que quiero escribir una historia acerca del inicio del último año escolar de mi Kris, que mejor lugar para hacerlo que en la comunidad de Motherhood.

Luego de habernos mudado para Valencia, mi hija ingreso al cuarto año de Bachillerato, fue algo difícil ese tiempo escolar pues habían algunas debilidades en materias como fisica, química y matemáticas, la cuales a pesar de todo pudo superar, fueron muchos momentos de desvelos, pero el éxito pudo divisarse cuando llegó a nuestras manos el Boletín de Calificaciones.

La participación de los padres no era requerida por ser una actividad académica, pero previo a una reunión, solicitamos un espacio para celebrar juntos con nuestros hijos tan magnífico evento, que terminaría con una celebración algo más privada por el espacio, juntos con sus profesores y autoridades académicas, con un desayuno especial y entrega de algunos regalos que fueron comprados previos a la recolección de colaboraciones y pagos mensuales.

El sacrificio valió la pena, cuando ví como marchaban estos jóvenes y se develó el logo, cayeron globos de colores, muchos confetis, mientras ellos saltaban gritando con alegria que eran promo, para mí fue tanta la satisfacción que corrió un par de lágrimas de felicidad.

Fueron unos pocos minutos, pero como lo dice el lema de esta promoción si no puede ser eterno que sea inolvidable, fue realmente emocionante participar en esta actividad, es mi primera y única vez pues solo tengo un hija, por supuesto le doy Gracias a Dios por permitirme ver y disfrutar de un momento tan único y original como ese.

Mi hija y yo nos hemos ayudado en todo momento, pero aquí encontramos amigas y mamis de sus amigas que le han dado la mano, ayudándola en los estudios, trabajos, tareas, investigaciones y hasta en la recreación, porque se inventan unos paseos para conseguir despejar su mente de los estudios que ustedes no sé imaginan.

Pero como no complacer a nuestros hijos, es que llegar a ser parte de la promoción 56, no es solo un exito mío sino también de la familia de mi hermana que me extendió todo su apoyo para que pudiéramos hacer realidad un sueño de establecernos en Valencia, echar raíces y prosperar como lo declara el Salmo 1:3, el cual voy consolidando con el pasar de los días.

Hoy le entregaran la franela de la promoción que tiene el mismo logo y yo como una representación de un amarre feliz también me hice una, para que los días viernes podamos ir juntas a las actividades extraescolares y sociales del colegio donde haremos vendimias y colectas para consolidar una gran fiesta al final del año.

Es importante no descuidar las materias que estudian nuestros jóvenes, porque nada hacemos con hacer un gran esfuerzo para estos preparativos y no van a participar por salir mal, es así que desde ya estoy pendiente del proyecto metodológico, química, física y matemática, por lo demás, cumplir con las labores que generalmente mandan a casa tales como infografías, trabajos, exposiciones,, maquetas, en fin, para mí como madre todas estas experiencias me llenan de alegría, y orgullo.

The participation of parents was not required because it was an academic activity, but prior to a meeting, we requested a space to celebrate together with our children such a magnificent event, which would end with a more private celebration for the space, together with their teachers and academic authorities, with a special breakfast and delivery of some gifts that were purchased prior to the collection of contributions and monthly payments.

The sacrifice was worth it, when I saw how these young people marched and the logo was unveiled, colorful balloons fell, many confetti, while they jumped shouting with joy that they were promo, for me it was so much satisfaction that ran a couple of tears of happiness.

It was a few minutes, but as the motto of this promotion says, if it can't be eternal it should be unforgettable, it was really exciting to participate in this activity, it is my first and only time because I only have one daughter, of course I thank God for allowing me to see and enjoy such a unique and original moment like that.

My daughter and I have helped each other at all times, but here we find friends and moms of her friends who have given her a hand, helping her in her studies, work, homework, research and even recreation, because they invent some walks to get her mind off her studies that you can't imagine.

But how not to please our children, is that becoming part of the promotion 56, is not only a success of mine but also of my sister's family who extended me all their support so that we could realize a dream of settling in Valencia, put down roots and prosper as stated in Psalm 1:3, which I am consolidating with the passing of the days.

Today she will be given the t-shirt of the promotion that has the same logo and I as a representation of a happy mooring I also made one, so that on Fridays we can go together to the extracurricular and social activities of the school where we will make grape harvests and collections to consolidate a big party at the end of the year.

It is important not to neglect the subjects that our young people study, because we do nothing to make a great effort for these preparations and they will not participate by going wrong, so I am already aware of the methodological project, chemistry, physics and mathematics, otherwise, comply with the work that usually send home such as computer graphics, work, exhibitions, models, in short, for me as a mother all these experiences fill me with joy and pride.
