With a canoe we set out on a trip down the Apure River, from very early in the morning we organized the transfer through the deep waters until we reached the mainland in Guárico, specifically Remanzon, to visit the Morillo family, it is possible to arrive in summer by land but in winter we arrived in a motor.

They are waiting for us with cachapa, pork and fish, they also said they were going to make some chorizas, with the guts of the pork they stuff them with seasoning and meat, this is a tourist and culinary adventure that we could not miss.

More than an hour, in the engine, up the waters to reach the home where we are expected, freedom is felt when the wind hits our face, the sun was noble only 33 degrees, but a cold and fresh breeze coming from the river.

Upon arrival we were able to work as a team in the kitchen, the cachapas were made on a budare with firewood, the pork was boiled, the fish was fried, it was a tremendous feast, I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

We continue projecting the beautiful, natural places of our Venezuelan plains, this was the adventure between Apuré and Guarde, bordering the river, we love you very much.

Con una canoa emprendimos un viaje por el río Apure, desde muy temprano se organizó el traslado por las aguas profundas hasta llegar a tierra firme en Guárico, específicamente Remanzon, para ir a visitar a la familia Morillo, es posible llegar en verano por tierra pero en invierno llegamos en un motor.

Nos están esperando con cachapa, cochino y pescado, también dijeron que iban hacer unas chorizas, con las tripas del cochino los rellenan con aliños y carne, está es una aventura turística y culinaria que no podíamos desaprovechar.

Más de una hora, en el motor, subiendo las aguas para llegar al hogar donde nos esperan, la libertad se siento cuando el viento nos golpea el rostro, el sol fue noble tan solo 33 grados, pero una brisa fría y fresca que viene del río.

Al llegar pudimos trabajar en equipo entre la cocina, las cachapas se hicieron sobre un budare con leña, el cochino lo hicieron caldereado, el pescado frito, fue tremendo banquete, espero que disfruten tanto como nosotros.

Seguimos proyectando los lugares hermosos, naturales de nuestros llanos venezolanos, así fue la aventura entre Apuré y Guarde, bordeando el Río, se les quiere mucho.
