Motivational Mondays: End of my participation in Yearly Author

Yearly Author Goal

On March 8, 2024, my dream of achieving the Annual Author seal from HiveBuzz came to an end. This is due to the fact that on this day I was unable to publish on Hive, a requirement to win the challenge.

We can view the calendar for the month of March, through the website hivebuzz.me, where we will see that, in my case, there is a failure on the 8th, a publication on the 9th and after that a sequence of blank days (no posts) .

It so happened that on the fateful day of March 8, 2024, at the end of the day, I prepared my post to participate in the Splinterlands challenge, and finished the post about 15 minutes before the end of the day.

I have frequently used the labs.inleo.io interface, which is inleo's testing front. It contains the first updates, as well as the first bugs. It is part of the program's maturation process to receive feedback from users, pointing out suggestions for improvements and error corrections.

On the fateful day, the post was not sent and the labs.inleo.io interface returned an error.

Being a situation that has been repeated in the past, I checked the post settings, the permanent link and the beneficiaries, and on other occasions these were the problem settings. I did not succeed.

Plan B is to join the official inleo.io interface and take advantage of the text already built. You just need to include the title and post settings, tags and other routine details. I remember noticing that there were less than 10 minutes left in the half.

Unexpectedly, the official interface also returned posting error, which made me quickly review and remove all customizations in the posting configuration. On the second attempt, the same error.

Since I was not prepared for this situation, I quickly decided that I would take the text to the ecency.com interface.

Imagine my surprise when I remembered that the ecency.com interface had been updated a few days ago, and I still wasn't used to knowing exactly where each button was.

I prepared the post and with a minute left, I sent it to the publication.
Nothing happened, that's when I noticed that the publish button could be in a color representing it being disabled. Something mandatory was missing!

Reviewing the text completely I realized that the title needed to be filled in!

I put a short title and sent it for publication, which was successful.

Unfortunately the transaction was registered at 09:00 PM UTC -3; which means it was zero hours in universal time, therefore March 9th.

HiveBuzz Badges

I highly recommend that users learn about and invest in obtaining HiveBuzz badges! There are three badges for authors weekly, monthly and annually. Note that I have already earned the weekly badge and the monthly badge. The challenge for 2024 was to obtain the Annual seal, a dream that is now over.

Having this goal in mind helps me achieve the growth in Hive Power that I so desire. Participating in these challenges helped me a lot to improve my focus and consistency in my posts. In addition, I also participated in other hivebuzz.me campaigns such as the World Cups!

The fight continues, and now I believe I've gone through the phases:

1. Denial
2. Revolt
3. Bargain
4. Depression
5. Acceptance

I didn't post for many days. Now, I will continue with the monthly challenges and having shorter goals moving forward. I want to fulfill them all!

Yearly Author Goal

Neste dia 08 de março de 2024 chegou ao fim meu sonho de conquistar o selo de Autor Anual, da HiveBuzz. Isso se deve ao fato que neste dia eu não consegui realizar uma publicação na Hive, exigência para vencer o desafio.

Podemos visualizar o calendário do mês de Março, através do site hivebuzz.me, onde veremos que, no meu caso, existe uma falha no dia 08, uma publicação no dia 09 e depois disso uma sequência de de dias em branco (sem postagens).

Ocorre que no fatídico dia 08 de março de 2024, já ao final do dia, elaborei minha postagem de participação no desafio Splinterlands, e finalizei o post com cerca de 15 minutos antes do final do dia.

Tenho utilizado com frequência a interface labs.inleo.io, que é a front de testes da inleo. Nela são colocadas as primeiras atualizações, e também os primeiros bugs. Faz parte do processo de amadurecimento do programa receber o feedback dos usuários apontando sugestões de melhorias e correções de erros.

No fatídico dia, a postagem não foi enviada e a interface labs.inleo.io retornou um erro.

Sendo uma situação que já se repetiu no passado, verifiquei as configurações da postagem, o link permanente e os beneficiários, sendo que em outras vezes essas eram as configurações com problema. Não obtive sucesso.

O plano B é ingressar na interface oficial inleo.io e aproveitar o texto já construído. É necessários apenas incluir o título e as configurações de postagem, tags e outros detalhes de rotina. Lembro de notar que havia menos de 10 minutos para o fim do tempo.

De forma inesperada, a interface oficial também retornou erro de postagem, o que me fez revisar rapidamente e remover todas as personalizações na configuração de postagem. Na segunda tentativa, o mesmo erro.

Como eu não estava preparado para essa situação, decidi rapidamente que levaria o texto para a interface ecency.com.

Imagine minha surpresa ao lembrar que a interface ecency.com havia sido atualizada a poucos dias atrás, e eu ainda não estava habituado a saber com exatidão onde estava cada botão.

Preparei a postagem e faltando um minuto, enviei para a publicação.
Nada aconteceu, foi quando notei que o botão de publicar poderia estar em uma cor representando estar inabilitado. Algo de preenchimento obrigatório estava faltando!

Revisando o texto completamente percebi que faltava preencher o título!

Coloquei um título curto e enviei para publicação, que foi bem sucedida.

Infelizmente a transação foi registrada as 09:00 PM UTC -3; o que significa que foi as zero horas no horário universal, sendo portanto no dia 09 de março.
