Fixing a Pool

On friday I went to go help a buddy with his pool. Well, he was at work while i fixed his pipes in his pool.

So I started to dig up his backyard to make a new route for the pipes for the pool. I will post all pictures after my chatting here. All that digging for trenches it made me sweat hard. And I drank a lot of water.

Took out the old pipes going into the skimmer and water jets and replaced with new joints and pipe. My friend already had all materials we needed in his yard so it was just go, go, go. Once skimmer and jets were all connected I did the pressure test to make sure no leaks in my work, and guess what? No leaks. These hands get very dirty but they get things done.
I connected all the pipes to main water flow pipe, that water that goes into the water spout jets, and a return. All connected to the pool pump and water pipe. Started it, thought for a second there hmm? what's taking so long for the water to hit the jets and for about 5 minutes nothing but stuck air and then water started to come out. Job well done.

Now on Monday morning, after I complete my #huntingforlarry, I will go back there and do the back filling, and sodding of new grass. Take dive in the nice fresh water, and go home and #hive. Hmm? Maybe a pool business? Nah I'd rather have a hive business.

Thanks for listening and looking at my picture of my work I do.

Theres the skimmer I was talking about. At this point I didn't have pipe attached to skimmer yet. I just laided out the pipe I needed. Started the other side. You see the robot pool cleaner?

Here is a better shot of the pipe I will using to go to 1 water spot jet, and the skimmer.

Here is the connection to the skimmer. All sealed and no leak. Put dirt back in.

Now I got to connect those 2 coming from pool area to lead water pipe (pipe that brings water into pool). ANd then that one pipe goes into the water pump, and filter. At this point I was in a rush that I forgot to take more pictures. I was planning on doing the pictures as I accomplished tasks. But once my mind goes to finish a task quick, others things slip out mind because my concentration is pool and finish.

Monday will be to back fill the rest. Good thing it was a nice day to work in and not humid AF around here.

Enjoy my hiver friends.
