My Journey in Splinterlands: End of Season, Impactful Updates and Bull Market

Hello friends, how are you?

Well, today is March 3rd and yes, I'm a little late to report on my last season of Splinterlands. Without a doubt, it was the best and biggest prize I received since I returned to play this year. I managed to accumulate 60 chests and what helped me get that amount was my change of strategy.

Before I had noticed that the SPS rewards were higher in Modern mode, despite being in the Bronze League, the rewards were very interesting compared to Wild mode. I tried to fight in both modes, but I realized that I needed to improve my performance from the last season I participated in, which was a total denial. LOL

I practically gave up playing in Modern mode, so I dedicated myself to doing all the daily fights, sometimes I bought energy and I can confess that this way of fighting as many times as you want is really cool, much better than before every battle we played, the RC decreased. Today, if each player wants to battle 100 times, they just need to buy more energy by paying with DEC.

Now I would like to introduce you to some interesting rewards that I earned this past season. I managed to finish in Gold III.

I also want to take the opportunity and express my opinion on some updates that Splinterlands has implemented in its game and I confess that even now that I'm playing, I'm really enjoying it both in terms of entertainment and financially.

New Updates Have a Direct Impact on the Splinterlands Market

One of the numerous updates that has occurred recently is the possibility for each summoner to battle at their maximum level in any League. That's exactly what you read, if you are on Silver II for example, you can use TARSA at level 8. This is completely insane and has a direct impact on players who rent their cards.

The demand for higher level cards will increase considerably and it is logical that these cards have gained a value far above their previous market value. Following the same example as TARSA, Fire Splinter, the minimum amount that the player will have to pay daily for this card is 71.53 DEC.

Source

It is logical that in these early days there was a lot of cancellation of rented cards, as players were paying attention to the market to place the best offers to obtain the greatest possible profit. It happened to me that I lost instantly in some battles because some cards I had acquired had been canceled by their owners. It's obvious that this player wanted to get more DEC for his pocket and I don't judge him, as he would do the same.

New Battle Modes

This is one of the new forms of battle rules in Splinterlands. Anyone who is used to playing knows that one summoner and six monster cards are allowed in each battle. Now with the new change, there is the possibility of having in some cases only four monster cards or just five.

Concluding

It is notable that from now on it will be much more challenging in some situations, as depending on the set of rules, there will be battles that can be very difficult to put together a good strategy. If you would like more information about this latest mega update to the game, you can check it out here

These updates came at a good time, without a doubt it leaves a certain balance for both new and veteran players. Everyone can have a chance to make good gains if they use their own strategies. This completely changed the entire dynamic of the game. Ranked battles and leagues are now a real battleground. It will be quite interesting and fun to see how this first season after major changes to the game will behave.

And you, did you like these updates?

Hello, I sincerely apologize. If I remove the LeoFinance tag, will my content leave this niche?

I don't want to question what the curation team determined, but there is a paragraph that highlights the impact of the prices that cards now have due to the new updates.

I even included an image where a Level 8 summon card costs daily. The cards became more expensive... But that's okay, like I said. It is not my intention to question you.

To have a nice day. I will remove the LeoFinance tag so that there is no problem for this niche about my content and again I apologize for my mistake.

Hi,
You need not to remove the tag. Infact you can now user InLeo.io to publish all your posts in different communities but Choosing the right community is important. Leofinance is only for crypto and finance related so if your post is for that topic then you can do this.

Also when you use InLeo ui, leofinance tag is added to post automatically and you need not to add it manually. You can still get curated apart from leofinance community. Hope I answered your question.

Thank you very much for the clarifications, they were all answered.

I was out of the crypto world for a long time and here there is always something new to learn, fortunately.

I only use the InLeo.io frontend, as I am already familiar with it and thanks again for the valuable tips.

I will be more attentive to these details. May you have a great day!
