Splinterlands | New YouTube Channels & Subscribers Update!

I love Splinterlands, Youtube, and blogging. So I'm keeping updated on the existing and new Splinterlands-centered channels. It's been 6 months since the last update (Link) so time to have a look at how all the channels are doing and if any new ones popped up.

Similar to last time, I would like to give some props mainly to @aftersound and @bulldog1205 who are the 2 channels I watch the most but also to all the others who continue to make content around the game!

Crypto has been in a bull market for a while now but Splinterlands so far is staying under the radar still. I guess the price of SPS and cards need to go up first before anyone takes notice. It also kind of shows in the subscriber numbers as it looks really hard to grow a channel under the current market conditions. Some also have given up it seems.

Newly Discovered Splinterlands Youtube Channels

1. Single Player Gamer

If anything, I like when people keep is real and the '5 Reasons Why Splinterlands Land 1.5 is Boring' does vibe with me. I'm not sure who exactly it was but I while ago I saw a video on someone complaining about all the cost and complication of the game which makes it impossible for new players to enjoy it which I also liked instead of all the videos that only look at and hightlight the good things about the game. Single Player Gamer has 1.22k Subscribers on Youtube right now and I only discovered it recently.

2. The Psilence

The Psilence is another Splinterlands Channel I didn't know about which was recommended to me by youtube. It has long 2 Hour+ streams and highlights of it in other videos. Currently, it has 162 subscribers.

3. SplintrZone

The video that somewhat caught my eye of SplintrZone was the one where they break down how much they earned playing the game for 2 Years. See How Much Money We Made After 2 Years Of Playing Splinterlands. Right now SplintrZone has just 48 Subscribers.

Conclusion

It's amazing to see the passion many people have for the game while creating content. Some channels continue to lose some subscribers and stopped making content while others are growing or are just getting started. I'm looking forward to the new ones I will discover the coming months so feel free to give a shout in the comments if there are others that should be in the list!

Does splinterlands costs us with money?
Or is it free to play?
If cost then how much?

Honestly, you better shit golden bricks to get in on the game to reach a level where it's most fun expecting to see assets decline in value over time. The New Player experience now is quite bad and I honestly wouldn't recommend it to anyone aside from players who already play and enjoy a game like Hearthstone.

The game desperately needs a game mode that is cheap and easy to get into for new players offering the full fun experience.

So, you're recommending me to not to play?

Don't get me wrong, Splinterlands is a good game and ecosystem. Right now though, it's hard to recommend it to newer players unless they are seasoned collectible card players who don't mind spending a ton of money on it with the idea that they are able to sell their assets later down the line. If you are just looking to earn or have casual fun with a game, Splinterlands likely won't suit your needs.
