Sorare.com Playoffs Week 4 | Rare Card Buying Spree (+17$ Earnings)

I have highly been enjoying Sorare.com and now also incuded Rare cards for this 2nd Season that I'm playing. Each Wednesday I'm making an update post on what's going on in the ecosystem and how I'm doing personally.

I'm still very much enjoying Sorare for the game that it is to the point where I was willing to use some of the earnings I saved up to start buying what feels like cheap rare cards. This at the risk that they will continue to go down over time. These cards include 2 goalkeepers.

Rare Cap 240 Team:

So I'm further expanding my rare team with an eye on next season even though I know it likely will continue to be a longshot to actually win regular prizes. I now have 5 goalkeepers, 6 defenders, 11 Midfielders, 7 Strikers allowing me to field up to 6 teams.

Player Transfers & Reward Card

I ended up buying 5 more rare cards last week with an eye on some more going forward to build my collection for the 2024-2025 Season already.

Morris: I needed another goalkeeper and Morris who has been the #1 choice for Union at 74€ looked like an opportunity as it gave 7 more matches for him to potentially earn something in the cap240 or contender leagues. However, he made another mistake last weekend which cost Union a 4th loss in a row and I would say he's in danger of being replaces. I still hope he stays in the goal with an excellent performance finding his form again and also staying in goal next season with Union having European Football.

Sardella: I need a couple more defenders and Sardella who is under 23 and is one of the key starters for Anderlecht who will likely play in Europe next season at 10€ felt like a steal after an excellent match last week. However, he followed that up with a really poor performance in the weekend.

Madsen: He's one of those key midfield players you can reliably put in your team. He has been suspended for a couple weeks and didn't play allowing me to pick him up for just 17€.

Ambrose: After an injury, he got a starter place for Kortrijk who unfortunately lost their match which puts them in big danger for direct relegation. However, he was one of the better players at Oostende and if Kortrijk relegates, he does have a chance to make a transfer. The cost was also only 2€ so worth the gamble.

Schmidt: AA Gent now has 3 goalkeepers for the 1st place of which I see Schmidt as the long-term best choice. Nardi is back after injury and Roef currently is doing well as 1st choice of coach Vanhaezebroeck who will leave the team next season. Schmidt is a goalkeeper who always should play so for 20€ I'm also taking the chance on him with an eye on next season.
