Playoffs Week 6 Saturday Previews

I missed a +1.6 unit jackpot yesterday which could have hit if Charleroi made the 3rd goal but instead ended with a 0.4 unit profit which I guess is still ok given the fact that Charleroi never really pushed for the 3rd goal. I was on the mark though and I'm looking to keep the momentum going into Saturday where 3 matches will be played...

Mechelen vs OHL

Mechelen at the moment as the 2nd in Playoff 2 is at 6 points of AA Gent and I don't believe they still believe in it. This makes this a match with nothing to play for pretty much. They are coming off a 3-1 loss against Gent and a 0-0 draw away against Standard. I do expect this to be a match where they still try to go for it in front of their home crowd which in these playoffs resulted so far in 3-2 and 2-3 results. They are playing with their 2nd goalkeeper Thoelen also. OHL despite having nothing to play for in these playoffs actually has done quite well after a poor start as they are unbeaten in 4 starts with Maertens fully back in good form. Only 1 of those matches went to 3 goals so I'm cautious on the over also because the line has been set at 3. Just 0.2 units is the most I'm willing to risk pre-game on OHL +0.5 @ 1.948. I'm also keeping an eye out on OHL team total over and the over in general but need to see more first.

Standard vs Sint-Truiden

This is a match with absolutely nothing to play for between 2 teams who haven't shown much offensively. Standard in their home matches played 0-0 against Mechelen and 0-0 against OHL I guess mostly because they don't want to take the risk to get caught on counters and lose at home in front of their home fans who aren't pleased with their season. Stvv away played without much conviction resulting in a 1-0 loss against OHL and a 2-3 win over Mechelen where their strategy was to keep 0-0 until minute 60 to try something afterward. If it wasn't for me having a rule not to be under in playoff 2 matches where there is nothing to play for I would take some on Under 2.5. Now I'm just staying far away from this one. No Pre-Game Bets

AA Gent vs Westerlo

AA Gent similar to last season is crushing playoff 2 and are looking to easily win it. Aside from a surprise 2-1 loss away against OHL they won all their matches with a 2+ goal difference and they mainly aim to win their home matches. However, they actually weren't that good away against Stvv even though they still won it with a 0-2 score. Westerlo as a team with nothing to play for started the playoffs bad but have improved recently with 2 draws which both came at home. A clear home win with many goals is the most logical result and the odds are fully set to that with a -1.75 handicap and a 3.5 line below even money. I did take a small 0.1 unit stab at AA Gent -1.5 @ 2.02 yesterday and I will keep at at that for now.
