GambleFi Portfolio | Taking Some Risks!

avatar

I am keeping close track of my Gambling Dapp Portfolio that includes SBET (Sportbet.one), BFG (Betfury.io), RLB (Rollbit.com), & now also some OPENBET (Openbetai.io) with regular updates on how exactly they are doing showing what can be expected for those interested...

I'm currently taking some more risk in this portfolio and rebalanced some funds from SBET into OPENBET. SBET has been extremely stable over the past years but it doesn't seem to be going anywhere in terms of growth while it is not without flaws. OPENBET on the other hand is either extremely cheap with big upside and dividend potential or a complete scam that will go close to 0.

Openbetai.io (OPENBET)

So in this 3rd month of Openbet, there was an overall loss reported which claimed to be -300$ over the course of the month and no dividends paid out which likely was the reason for some bigger bags dumping getting the price down to a point where the circulating market cap is just 127k.

The things that make me optimistic about this project is that they do have a solid gambling site including poker and are the main and most known gambling dapp in the Arbitrum ecosystem. There seems to be quite some betting activity and they successfully created some initial hype getting crypto investors in that look to profit getting in on new coins that launch low with a liquidity pool. I also like their general strategy to onboard new players so far and the potential based on profit similar type crypto bookies generate is crazy.

There are however multiple red flags right now for me mostly the question of why the devs aren't buying their own token at the current valuation. Everyone that is invested and those who are gambling on the site also fully rely on having trust in the team as nothing is transparent and they pretty much can make any number they want. They can do whatever they want with customer funds an for all I know they are making a profit and keeping it for themselves or are down big and in trouble. This really is a big issue that needs to be fixed going forward in one way or another.

So right now with the current uncertainty I'm either investing more possibly getting caught up in the hopium and sunken cost fallacy or just keep what I have and pray not to get screwed over. I did sell 1M SBET for 3321$ and used 2879$ of that to buy 123789 OPENBET extra. Ever since the price fell more as that bought during the initial pump dumped 300k and 400k OPENBET. The Liquidity pool also acts quite strange as both sells and buys created red candles and I'm not sure what's up with that.

I am thinking of getting my stake up to 5% of the supply at the current price just because I feel it is extremely cheap while at the same time I don't want to overinvest increasing my already quite big loss.

So the next 3 weeks there won't be any dividends from Openbet in my chart but I'm (naively) hoping there will be at least some again next month making it just a 1-time-thing for there to be an overall loss.

Sportbet.one (SBET)

It was another solid dividend week for SBET but I will be receiving less as I once again cut down my exposure which also dumped the price a bit as I didn't want to wait. SBET actually fully held up during the altcoin crash and I have done really well with this coin during the bear market actually making a profit which got me to a point where I was overexposed which by now has been balanced as I brought down my holdings from 8M to 5M which is where I will keep them most likely.

Rollbit.com (RLB) & Rollbot/Sportsbot NFTs

Rollbit at this point kind of feels like Betfury where the overall betting action is stable and you kind of know what to expect without the returns being crazy high. I did lock my Sportsbot for a 5th time which this time around pays me 7.21$ a week.(previously this was 8.81$ / 7.12$ / 7.55$ / 4.28$)

The supply of RLB continues to go down at a pace of -0.08% each week while the jackpot is growing. There isn't much activity in NFTs that are being sold or bought which reduced the Dollar earnings from that quite a bit to just 1.48$ last week while during the peak it ranged between 6$ and 17$.

I'm still in a zone where I just hold on to the rather small investment that I have while monitoring things along the way.

Betfury.io (BFG)

Betfury continues to be quite stable bringing roughly 30% APY currently. I am looking to get my stake back up from 480k to 500k BFG mostly just because I like even numbers. However, the marketcap is 48 Million while OPENBET is 127k which makes me lean much more toward taking the higher-risk, higher-reward gamble.

APY Based on Current Price and Dividends from the last 7 days

All these numbers are based on prices of Monday

ProjectAPY
Betfury.io (BFG)+34.17% APY
Sportbet.one (SBET)+40.09% APY
Rollbit.com (RLB)+26.49% APY
Openbetai.io (OPENBET)+0% APY

Note: Token prices going up or down have a major influence on the actual returns going forward either amplifying them if they go up or destroying them when the price would dip. These are my personal numbers and RLB varies based on the trait of the Rollbot NFTs you own.

Personal Gambling Dapp Portfolio
The next 3 weeks will have decreased dividends as Openbet reported a loss which now is a big part of my holdings. If things go right however, this potentially should turn into highly increased dividends after these weeks are over. My Portfolio includes 5M SBET | 480k BFG | 2887$ worth of Rollbot NFTs | 423k OPENBET and I have been generating passive earnings this way now for over 175 weeks!. I'm still looking to diversify with other good gambling dapps that pay the losses or fees from the gambler to those holding a token. Anyone that has tips on this, please leave a comment below...

The next months for sure are going to be interesting as my gamble could pay off or backfire setting me back quite a bit in this portfolio. Regardless of what happens, I've very much equipped to handle to ups and downs.
