Hello, Hivers and Foodies!

Lately, I have not been able to be as present in Hive as I would like to be, the RL has been busier than usual, but I am trying to catch up again with my activity in Hive. And today I come to share with you the experience of last Sunday when I took the husband to eat at a place in Caracas called Sushi & Cebiches.

Last Sunday we were celebrating Father's Day, and with our son away at College, it was a bit weird to have our usual Father's Day lunch at home, where we usually have a barbecue. So for a change, I suggested to my husband to go to this place that I visited a couple of months ago on a girls' afternoon, where the specialty is sushi and cebiches.

The outside of the restaurant is not unnoticed as it is quite colorful.

The first time I visited, we sat on a second-floor terrace, but when we arrived on Sunday the terrace was all taken. So we sat downstairs and it was probably for the best considering how hot it has been the last few days.

And it would be because of the heat that when we arrived, we ordered a couple of frozen lemonades with mint.

For lunch, we ordered one of the combinations they had on promotion, which consisted of a ceviche, an appetizer, and two sushi rolls. More than enough for the two of us.

The ceviche was classic. It was good, although I prefer it with a little less liquid because it tends to "overcook" the fish. And I missed a touch of ginger. I've gotten used to adding it to ceviche, and I think it goes great with it.

The starter consisted of super crunchy prawns with a honey mustard sauce. They were delicious.

One of the rolls had salmon, shrimp, avocado, and cream cheese with crispy kani as topping and eel sauce.

The other roll was salmon, kani, and avocado. It was a tempura roll and had a creamy sauce made with tentacion cheese which is a local cheese similar to brie.

I loved the light sign that was part of the decoration and said Rock and Rolls 🍱🤩.

I found the mural near the entrance in the area where the cashier is located to be very colorful and eye-catching.

The place has good vibes, the food is good and the prices are reasonable, so we will probably visit again in the future.

So my husband had a different but still good Father's Day lunch.

Últimamente no he podido estar tan presente en Hive como quisiera, la vida offline ha estado más ocupada de lo normal, pero estoy tratando de ponerme al día nuevamente con mi actividad en Hive. Y hoy vengo a compartir con ustedes la experiencia del domingo pasado cuando llevé al esposo a comer a un lugar en Caracas llamado Sushi & Cebiches.

El domingo pasado estuvimos celebrando el día del padre y con nuestro hijo fuera en la Universidad se nos hacía un poco raro hacer nuestra comida habitual del día del padre en casa, donde solemos hacer una parilla. Así que para variar le propuse a mi esposo ir a este sitio que había conocido hace un par de meses en una tarde de chicas con mis amigas, donde la especialidad es el sushi y los cebiches.

El local por fuera no pasa desapercibido ya que es bastante colorido.

La primera vez que lo visité, nos sentamos en una terraza del segundo piso, pero cuando llegamos el domingo la terraza estaba toda ocupada. Así que nos sentamos abajo y probablemente fue lo mejor teniendo en cuenta el calor que ha hecho estos últimos días.

Y sería por el calor que al llegar pedimos un par de limonadas con hierbabuena.

Para comer, pedimos una de las combinaciones que tenían en promoción, que consistía en un ceviche, un aperitivo y dos sushi rolls. Más que suficiente para los dos.

El ceviche era clásico. Estaba bueno, aunque lo prefiero con un poco menos de líquido porque tiende a "sobrecocinarse" el pescado. Y eché de menos un toque de jengibre. Me he acostumbrado a añadirlo al ceviche y creo que le va genial.

El entrante consistía en unos langostinos súper crujientes con una salsa de miel y mostaza que estaban deliciosos.

Uno de los rolls llevaba salmón, camarones, aguacate y queso crema con kani crujiente como topping y salsa de anguila.

El otro roll era de salmón, kani y aguacate. Estaba tempurizado y tenía una salsa cremosa hecha con queso tentación, que es un queso local parecido al brie.

Me encantó el cartel luminoso del decorado que decía Rock and Rolls 🍱🤩.

El mural que hay cerca de la entrada, en la zona donde está el cajero, me pareció muy colorido y llamativo.

El lugar tiene buen ambiente, la comida es buena y los precios son razonables, así que probablemente volveremos a visitarlo en el futuro.

Así que mi esposo tuvo un almuerzo Día del Padre diferente pero aún así bueno.
