A good coffee and the best company
This morning, my husband and I went for a morning walk, as we usually do on Sundays. And after our walk, we went to do some shopping.
We got distracted, and at the time of our son's Sunday morning phone call, we were still at the mall. So hubby suggested that instead of postponing the call, we could sit at a coffee shop and chat with the three of us.
I had my eye on a cafe bar in one of the mall terraces, so we headed that way.
The place was perfect. The cafe is in an open space, where there was not much noise.
We ordered a couple of cappuccinos.
I indulged myself with a coffee with a little milk. And it was creamy as I like it. It had been many days since I had a coffee with milk. This time, however, I passed on a sweet treat. For now, nothing sweet for me.
So we were drinking coffee and chatting the three of us.
Although we talk almost every day, the Sunday call is usually the longest to catch up. It's a moment of the three of us that we cherish so much, and it was great this time to do it over a nice cup of coffee. It was as if the three of us had gone to that café together.
The location of the café
The cafe is located in the Parque Cerro Verde shopping center. This mall was finished years ago at the beginning of the worst crisis in the country and was almost empty for a long time. But now more and more stores are open.
It has very nice areas like this huge roofed terrace where the cafeteria is and where sometimes they do events.
The view from there is beautiful. You can see the mountains, and although the day was cloudy, it is nice.
We had a great time and enjoyed the coffee, so we will surely come back. We didn't eat, but at the next table, they were eating sandwiches and stuffed croissants that looked delicious.
Nothing like spending some time enjoying a good cup of coffee in good company, right?

Yes, stevia can be taken and used for sweetening. These days I will experiment at home to see what desserts I can make using it.
For now, I haven't felt the urge for any sweets, my advantage is that I love fruits.
That's good.. But mind those fruits with high sugar...

Ohhh!!! I didn't know we were so close, what a joy to know, I suddenly felt very connected with you.
How nice that moment you describe and that you lived on Sunday with your husband and your son, really many times even through video call you can feel as if the person was there, of course it will never be the same but at least we have that option those of us who have a loved one far away, and if it is with coffee, everything is much better.
